I needed a hotel room for my 19 yo son driving from Miami to Vermont. He needed a place to stay that was safe and few hotels allow someone that age to check in. Jorge called multiple hotels for me and found one! Could not be more grateful!
I needed to book for the Erik Dalton retreat and Ian was excellent. What a warm and friendly person. I had a few hiccups with my credit card but he was super patient and we got it done. And using all the technology to directly access the phone. It was so convenient. Ian is the best. I'm so bummed he'll be on vacation when I'm there. I really wanted to meet him to say thanks in person.

Booked a room for the 29th & 30th of May on line. Checked, we got a reservation number email. Tried to verify the reservation, no record of it. Talked to 3 " agents "on the phone.
Third one said he could book a room but he would charge the full price of the room at this time.
We have been staying there for over 35 years once or two time each year.

He never advised me of a cancellation option and wrote it was given. Additionally I told him had a reservation for the 29,30 and first and sync with my new 28th. He said would and it was not done. Terrible way to due business

I called so many other hotels asking how much of a hold they will put on my card if i ended up paying the reservation in cash when i got there and they all told me i would have to have the whole amount of the stay on my card instead of doing cash for the stay when i got there and gladly michael was able to answer those questions for me and tell me that i would only be paying a $29.99 deposit to book the room and i can do the rest in cash when i get there. Agent customer service awesome, hotel check in is awful. Charged a $50 incidental fee that was not mentioned, no breakfast even though that was quoted & in the email. Rates are more expensive booking through 3rd party vendor versus booking at the property. This is a bait and switch & blindsides the customer. Totally illegal, lesson learned & I will never use this service again. I will alert everyone I know to avoid this hotel and reservation vendor.

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
