If you are looking for any customer service or support don't join Alo! If there is a problem with your membership you will get the same response (if you find the number or email to contact them). I suffered a serious concussion in the beginning of September and contacted them in October asking for them to freeze my membership. They said they can't but they want to help me. So I explained I am out of work, can't exercise and in all kinds of therapy and would like a freeze/pause. I said you can see I logged classes almost daily and now nothing. Fast forward to February and I am continuing to try and get support: I finally start back with exercise and again ask if they can extend the membership out 5 months. They asked for my CC even though I said I don't want money back to extend the membership. I gave them the Dr note and they still gave me the same answer "Unfortunately, due to a system limitation, we are unable to extend your current subscription. It's important to note that the subscription has already started, and as a result, we are unable to make any changes to its duration." They knew this but still had me giving them information to come back with the same stupid response. I run a business and know I can stop someones payment and extend their benefits if need be. Stop lying Alo! And stop ending your emails with this "Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. We are committed to resolving this issue for you as quickly and efficiently as possible." LIes!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! For the prices they charge you think they would have better customer service. I bought a pair of Accolade Straight Leg Sweatpants as a Christmas gift for my daughter - I simply wanted to exchange the Large to a Medium (same color, same pants) - at the store I was told they were out of stock & was told to keep looking on line & that I had until January 6th! Well today (1/2/2025), I could not do the exchange online myself so I called the 800# and was told sorry, return window closed, no exceptions. These pants cost $128! OVER PRICED and then to be told I can't exchange it for a smaller size - HORRIBLE! Save your money! There's good quality sweatpants elsewhere. ALO IS THE WORST! Period!
I finally bit the bullet and got their famous and expensive motto leggings. They are quite disappointing, very thick fabric and odd fitting on my body. Since I don't live in the U.S. I have to arrange for my own shipping back to them and it was such as hassle.
Bought two dresses from this company and when they arrived they were a cheap, rough material. Definitely not worth the price. Then found out it would cost me to return them internationally as they didn't supply a return label. An expensive mistake I will not make again
Just a heads up- while many of the items are super cute and worth every cent, I did place a very large order, one item I ordered two of to be sure I was happy with the size. I've now had to send 6 emails with ridiculous back-and-forth bantering to attempt to get a return label printed. The instructions for returns are like any other online sales-you click the buttons and upon acceptance and submission the label gets sent to your email. Which is exactly what the website says, the label never does get sent. You MUST email them, and answer the same questions queried during the online return process and it's definitely not automated, these are humans. 6th email from them ask if I'd like an in-store credit or a return…. If you order, be ready for some lengthy back and forth exchanges.
I've been wanting Alo Yoga products for a while now and saw that there was a promo so I decided to purchase one item! Really love the piece and I think the material is great.
Ordered on a saturday and got it on a wednesday so I'd say that's pretty fast (considering I bought it on the weekend). Oh also no shipping fee!
The order also came with a 30-day free trial of their alo yoga service which you an access through their alo moves app. There's actually a lot of cool classes and series I'd definitely try/checking it out!
I bought my usual size during one of Alo's sale events. Out of the 4 items I purchases, only 1 fit. I called Alo to see if they would consider as a courtesy letting me return the items for store credit. A half hour on the phone later, I was told no, they would not consider it. Considering I purchased nearly 300 USD of merchandise and asking for a credit, not a refund, they would have made an exception.
Alo makes the worst leggings ever. I always wonder how companies like this survive. I guess it's because they're new and everyone likes "new". However, I am a legging connoisseur, the best leggings in the world or by far Spanx hands-down. I would much rather spend $100 on a pair of leggings that will last me a year plus and still hold up and make your shape look good then $150 on a pair of leggings that insinuate every non-flattering curve. 😎
For the record, I'm in great shape, but these leggings make me look like I have much improvement needing to be made. I wish my boyfriend would lose this site. 😂
I've decided to start returning, no more storing these horrible leggings/sports bras.
Their only purpose seems to be to take your money immediately, not ship the order, and then do everything possible to avoid taking any responsibility for sorting it out.
Customer service is non existent. They know the parcel is lost, yet they refuse to send a replacement or allow you to cancel until they have completed their investigation.
Looking at other review platforms this is a regular occurrance.
Don't fall for their hype. Their only purpose is to take your money!
Stick with lululemon. Alo Yoga is terrible quality. I ordered some cashmere joggers and the threading became loose and a hole formed after 3 light wears. I even dry cleaned it and they wouldn't replace it or refund me. Very disappointed and I won't shop there again.
