The judge made us use this due to my x keeps harassing and lying. Well now I get to be tormented with this app and no one cares or sees it. The judge never looks at it or the gal or court house. My x can change your holidays to make it look like their own and call the cops to say you took their day. It's just another way for the courts and this app to make money.
We have not used Our Family Wizard since 2021. We just found out that they keep taking our money from us. They took $144 in January 2022 and January 2023. The only reason they didn't get it this year, 2024 is because we have new bank cards. You don't, in good conscience, take money from people if they aren't using your services. We did not know we were giving them permission to access our account still! The manager, Mitch does not return my emails or phone calls regarding this matter. It is very frustrating and I believe we will not get our money returned. It's just not right to keep taking money from people when they do not use your service. People, if a Judge or Referee want to force you to use this service like we were, please beg them to find something different. Please DO NOT give Our Family Wizard your money! They only care about the money, not you!
Fantastic app, has all the features you need in one place, messaging, calendar, document section.
Ex was constantly trying to confuse and overcomplicate communication but using multiple platforms i. E. texts, whatsapp, email. This pulls it together into one place, he cannot hide from the mistakes he keeps making now. Whilst it doesn't stop an abusive ex from saying un true and nasty things (why do people think an app would change their ex's personality?), it does log it nicely so that my lawyers can see everything and should anything go to court, it will be easy to prove.
The top critical review just about said it all, as have some others. If you feel you need to spend money to receive abusive rants with someone who wants to formalize verbal abuse here, by all means, sign up! Guess what, the court doesn't care unless your ex is threatening overt harm. If things are really dire/high conflict, but your kids are basically ok outside the strain caused by toxic adult communication, it's a parallel parenting plan you need, not OFW.
My exhusband and I were ordered by the court to use the parenting app in our parenting agreement. I paid 119$ for a year which is the only way they offer their service. I wrote one or two messages. But my exhusband never even purchased the service! They wanted 119$ from both parties before we even tried their service. My exhusband died 3 months later. I forgot about the service until they had the audacity to charge for a 2nd year of a service I never used! Since I never was able to utilize the application I expected the company would understand and issue a refund. They have not. Apparently they lack integrity. If someone never even had a chance to participate with another parent in the app why would it be fair to charge them. Its a "parenting app" and i couldnt participate even though i paid because he never joined! I have contacted the better business bureau hoping they can help.
The expense tab is worthless. If you enter a valid expense, the other parent can reject it and the expense is removed from what they owe. Or the other parent can mark that they paid it when they did not, and the expense is removed from their total due.
I have requested a report that shows the total expenses no matter what the other parent does on their end and for the report to show how the other parent marked the expense.
Our Family Wizard customer service does not respond to any emails and when you call, they are rude and do not listen to what the request is about.
If you want to endure a year of your ex planting messages in here to make stuff look the way they want it...then go ahead sign up for this.
No one is going to look at it...original messages and replies aren't automatically sent in extracts, you have to check the box for replies or select the reply...so gaslighters can cherry pick messages to forward to the court/their attorney so you can spend $250/hr to send to your attorney so they can send to their attorney and the court to clear up the garbage.
Figured it out...lawyers must've written this app
When you know that you don't have to actually do anything to get clientel because the court system will order you to, why would you do a good job? The entire existence of this company is to profit off of screwed over fathers by a system that believes every word that comes out of someone's mouth as long as they are a woman. The fact that the founder of this company is a man is beyond disgusting. What a cuck. I cant tell you not to use this product because the courts will make you but I can tell you to bash this app and it's founder relentlessly and that's exactly what you should do. Father's have very little rights in this country...one of the main reasons I'm done having kids...but at least we still have the first amendment...for now.
I am pretty upset with the communication with this company. I've reached out multiple times and about a month later got a response which was not helpful at all. My coparent requested through court to use OFW as a form of communication and once I signed up, she refused to use it. So I spent a little over $200 for nothing, and I explained my situation multiple times to this company, asking for a refund and all the responded with was that I was past the 30 day refund policy.
Ok, so divorce is hard and expensive. When you're on a budget, the last thing you need is for a judge to tell you need to spend another $100 on a website that you can take care of with text, emails and a good old fashioned calendar. I hope the judge overseeing my case has to one day use this service, but as we know education, courts, and pretty much anything government related is polluted by corporations. Thanks for making me and my soon to be ex, spend $200 on this crap. My son needs shoes but I can't get those because the judge sees that this stuff is more important. Wrap your shoes in plastic son, I love you.

Answer: Hi, Jennifer - From the OFW Calendar, you can export events to a. Ics file and import those into your outside calendaring systems, like iCal. Here is a link to more instructions on how to do so: https://www.ourfamilywizard.com/knowledge-center/tips-tricks/parents-website/export-calendar
Answer: Hi, Katelynn - If your co-parent kept their notifications active, they'll continue to receive them even after their account has expired. As for being able to read a new message you sent, each user is granted two grace logins that will allow them to access their account after it has expired. After those two grace logins have been used, the subscription must be reactivated if they want to access their account and any new activity waiting to be viewed.
Answer: Hello - Yes, you will be able to access all of the messages and other entries in your existing account by renewing your subscription. You can renew your subscription yourself online by logging into your account via the website.
