Cancellation of games without notice
January 14, 2021

Lumosity has over 100 million members, a lot of them, like me, signed up for the long term. That's why they can afford to cancel popular games with no explanation. I played Word Bubbles (classic) and Word Bubbles Rising almost daily, but never saw a banner indicating they were to be chopped, and they were not on the original list in the company's news flash. I believe Lumosity has done this because some of these games cannot be run without Adobe Flash, which pulled their service, and they would rather disappoint the customers than come to an agreement with Adobe. I'm very disappointed in the company, which, with this move, has proven itself to be just another business.
They should at least have launched a survey to see who would be interested in having any proposed cancelled games saved.
I now realise that Lumosity can simply close up shop, and lifetime members would have no recourse at all. I feel so upset it'll be a while before I return to the site.
Caveat emptor!

I TRULY enjoy Lumosity!
October 16, 2020

I have been doing Lumosity for over 5 years. When I started, I could FEEL my brain working. It is an enjoyable way to start my morning! There are over 60 different games available. [I counted the other day and I only do 27.] I'll branch out when I get bored. Try their FREE program to see if it is something YOU will enjoy!

I found out several years ago that I have short term memory loss from a fractured skull when I was quite young. I worked hard all my life to improve my memory. I discovered these games about 5 years ago and they have helped tremendously. I enjoy the repetition as I try to exceed my scores each week. You can switch games if you need a different challenge also. There are still new games for me to play. I highly recommend Lumosity.

I signed up for 12 months of Lumosity in 2020. Without any email contact, they used the same credit card details for the next 3 years, 2021, 2012 and now 2023 to debit us. This card was out of date for the following years but Lumosity still used it to charge us. I have not used Lumosity since 2020 but we were still charged.

Beware Auto Renew
April 20, 2021

I purchased this app and used it for a number of months. At the end of the period it renewed withouit my permission. Beware! When I told them via email I did not want to continue, they told me they never charged me. The charge of $64.95 appears on my credit card statement. They can't find it. Either they are not a reputable company or they have customer service people trying to scam users.

I have tried this service in order to exercise my brain. Nowadays, we are so busy with various things that we often forget about our brain, it also requires some attention. It's the very first reason of your degradation actually. People have to pay more attention to their brains in order not to get matured too fast. I tried here trial version and I liked it a lot. There are lots of levels and games which develop your brain. I decided to buy a full version of this application and actually nowadays I'm really happy that I have unlimited access to all the pdculiarities of this service.

Bull$#*!
December 15, 2020

Well marketed bull$#*!. You are stuck with your genetic lottery. Playing "brain" games is stupidity. Spend your time doing crafts, reading a book, socializing or exercising with/out equipment. Doesn't that sound better than lounging on your bed and playing worthless "brain" games? A person can "act" smart, but can never be smart if it was never meant to be. Thanks to google, everyone can act smart and just like google, luminosity is making you think you are smarter by using their service. Do you really want to spend part of your life in this delusional bull$#*!? Do yourself a favor and just uninstall.

Love it
November 6, 2021

Can't imagine why everyone wouldn't love Lumosity. I'm 83 and try to play every day. I see a drop in my score if I miss a day or two. It's fun and challenging. You can compare your score with others in your age group. If you are having trouble with your memory or just want to stay sharp, try it. I'm going to have my granddaughters try it tomorrow to see what they think.

It's totally BS. Half the times the scores are not reflecting reality. Also, obvious, these games mean nothing. If one has vision or hand problems, scores will reflect. Also, the scores are not at all accurate, the games reflect nothing. One should only play Lumosity for entertainment. Lumosity should not be allowed to advertise itself as a product which enhances brain capacity. It does not. It does entertain. Lumosity: Stop Miss Representing your product. Basically it's all BS.

Good
May 25, 2021

I never joined Lumosity Premium, but it is quite good. However, If you haven't got premium, you always get the same 3 games every day and never any new ones. It does get a bit boring after a while. It is quite good though.
