I have not used the service for long but overall I do like the service. I like being able to receive my mail without having to actual open it. I like the options in terms of shred, open, mail etc. My only complaint is setting up the account took way too long.

I confused iPostal1 with another provider, the other provider opens and scan selected documents. After signing up and going through all of the rigamarole I realized on my first use that this was NOT an option. So apparently we will not be using iPosta1 next year during our journey's.

You do have the option to request your mail to be opened and scanned. While we scan the front of every envelope or package for free, usually on the day it arrives, if you would like to have a particular piece of mail opened and the content scanned, you can request this from your online interface or the app. This is one of our optional services that is listed on the Pricing page on our website. Because you will see the sender of each mail item, you might have a pretty good idea if this is content that you want to scan or not.

Thanks only to Alex at Robson Print and Ship 1771 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V693B7 location where my box is. He helped me by phone and email. I got no help with your chat to correct my set up paperwork. I would have cancelled but it was the location that saved my account Not ipostal team... I called ipostal many times no answer or said someone would call back but never did. Corporate bad customer service I only kept my box because Alex... he cared and solved my problem. My box address is 1771 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC Canada V6G3B7

While we do have a dedicated team to assist with the Form 1583, which is required by the USPS when opening a U.S. mailbox, we don't currently have the same for the International Enrollment Form. For now, we recommend working directly with your mail center to complete and submit the form.

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment. However, some of our Office Building locations do provide live-answering services. This is something that you will need to pay them for directly, separate from your iPostal1 subscription. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at service@iPostal1.com about next steps.
Answer: Given your specific needs, it pays to do a little homework before deciding which state or city will work best for you. Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.
