Alan's courses and newsletter provide excellent advice and support for most job seekers. I was a subscriber to his newsletters and found them to be very helpful in my search. I took his course on behavioral interview questions and it was a great workshop that helps you nail the most important and frequently asked interview questions so that you can tell high impact stories about your value to hiring managers. Highly recommend his services and course as I just landed a job after a 6mo long search in a very competitive market.

The videos are not enthusiastic. I found the material monotonous and a bit boring, which made it very hard to open the website to study. I was expecting a more interactive platform.

I purchased the Success Formula - access to worksheets and web trainings -- and it was absolutely one of the best investments I made. Not only did the worksheets and modules break down very clearly and systematically what to expect and how to build confidence, but the feedback from the team was timely and invaluable. They gave real and actionable advice specific to my actual scenario and job niche. I was never left hanging, and always came away equipped with more tools and a few "aha" moments. I was also re-entering the job market after years of working as an independent contractor and consultant, and was able to flip that with confidence to convey exactly how I would be the best fit. The Interview Success Formula is an awesome program and I highly recommend it! I am someone that rarely does job interviews due to my hard work ethics. Knowing yourself and how to communicate and apply your strengths and weaknesses is the key to this program. Like others, I already have some great job experience, and forget that employers today are just as likely to choose someone with less experience and who are a better fit for their company. Having the Self Assessment Report and Interview Crib Sheet helped me understand my potential contribution to a company. Being able to speak to both strengths and weaknesses (opportunities for improvement) was key to me getting the job I really wanted. It also allowed me to have a broader perspective about those roles that were not a good fit as I had multiple interviews. This is not only an interview program, but a career building opportunity as you learn about yourself, your preferences and those areas that may need improvement, as you gain experience and want to take on different roles in your current situation. It is amazing not just because it covered the entire process from searching, getting ready and prepare, interview, negotiation, and closing, but because it TRYLU gives you a DEEP understanding of WHO you are and HOW you reflect that at work, assembling TAILOR-MADE answers that they powerful show who you are and what you can bring to the organization, the amount of inner knowledge that gives you allows you to successfully convey those strengths, motivations, and drivers into your interview process! It also gives you a TON of Guides/working sheets style to ensure you can work them on every interview you have so you wont forget any important step/process on the go.

This site, and the experience they offer is invaluable. Entry level is not very expensive, especially for the individual service (tailored report) they give. This company gives a real insight into the interview process and how you can better engage with it. They do not just give suggestions of what could be done, they give you 80% answers that you can tailor to your own experience. A BIG plus are the emails they send out every week, with stories, examples and encouragement to keep you going in these difficult times. These emails lift your spirit, give you hope that you can get through the recruitment process. I am in the UK, and it is very difficult for a service to be successful and which works well on both sides of the channel. This service however has done this, and has certainly helped me in my journey. If you are reading this I am assuming you are in the recruitment process, so I wish you all the best in your search, "bonne chance" and stay safe.

I've been reading and recommending the content of the Interview Success newsletter for several years now for its practical applicability for those feeling overwhelmed about finding their way in navigating their career options and plain old just finding a job after years in the same one and then finding themselves having to re-enter the job market to try to find something 'new'.

I have been working with Government as an analyst for 5 years now, since I moved back home here to Ontario 5 years ago, leaving Northern Canada after having spent 5 years there and 17 years in B. C. prior to that. I started working for the Government here in Ontario as a Casual employee at 43 years old which meant constantly looking for work as Casuals can work only 90 business days per calendar in any one Department per calendar year. So for 3 & 1/2 years I worked between 3 different departments, rotating back when and where I could year after year. At year 3 & 1/2, I finally landed a 'term' position with sick days, paid holiday time and health benefits for a 2-year term. While I was a term, I landed an indeterminate (permanent), full-time position and 6 months after that, landed a full-time, permanent position in a place where my skills fit the work better and the team and culture of the work place suit me better as well.

I attribute a good amount of the job search and interviewing skills I've learned over the years to the content of the Interview Success Formula program material.

I hesitated to join Interview Success Formula because it just seemed too good to be true. Their Doodly presentation was exceptional and hit home for me. At 55, I was reentering the work force after raising kids at home. I had owned my own business, worked in marketing and publishing, and freelancer as an advertising copywriter. I did not have a college degree, nor the desire to finish my coursework to obtain one. Once I zeroed in on pursuing a career as a 911 Dispatcher, I took a Public Safety course at a local college and did all I could to obtain certificates and prepare myself for the job market. Even with all my different experiences, I hesitated to begin interviewing because I dreaded the popular question, "So, tell me about yourself". I mean... really? So when I found ISF on a website for women going back to work, I wrote down their information and waited a few weeks. And then I jumped in. And it has been the best thing I ever did! They respond to your emails. They will do everything possible to give you the best shot at your dream job. If I weren't so focused on becoming a 911 Dispatcher, I would want to work for them!
