Initially I was worried/annoyed—What's annoying is you see your order sit there, not dispatched. I think they basically don't have stock; they just make to order. But after sending an email & getting a form reply that didn't make sense, I resent with a further question and got a real answer. They then explained how long it would take roughly and by which courier I could expect it. I waited.
It came around the time they suggested, and was even better made than I'd hoped. This isn't cheap, falling-apart stuff. It's properly cut and finished, true to size and fit; proper hemming and length. The embroidery is finer and nicer than expected. Well done! Very happy with it. So much that I ordered a second!
Cheap material and sizes are ridiculously small. They don't state on their return policy that you have to pay your own shipping to China! They offer you a coupon and send you an email stating that's it's not worth the return. I will be calling my credit card company as this is fraudulent and they won't grant me a return nor refund.
DON'T PURCHASE! It never looks like the picture. Asked to return & they said it's too expensive to return to China. No refund. & they were offering me a 25% discount on the next thing I purchased. So I'm pretty much stuck with the dress that doesn't fit and looks like a child made it. Unhappy!
I had my bridesmaids order a dress from Holy Clothing. I was excited because the designs were so cute and the ethics seemed on point. Its been two months and still the only way to get updates from them is to message them on social, we are not getting any kind of notification via email to explain the delay. When I email them I get the same copy and paste response that cites a "dye" issue. If this is the case, why has it happened more than once for the same order? I wish the company would send the defective dress along just to have something to wear, I'm a week from the wedding and I still can't expect the dress to arrive as it hasn't shipped.
Id rather not even have 1 star. The delay in shipping has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. The item is for a wedding and ordered 2 months ago. I reached out and was respond to quickly, but nothing was changed. Now it won't be shipped till a week after the wedding. We'll beyond the already ridiculous wait. I won't be coming back.
I placed an order on March 24 with a quoted 6-8 week shipping time. On May 19, I emailed customer service to ask about my order and got the following reply,
"Happy to help :) I've checked and your order xxxxxxxx is scheduled to ship about 6-8 weeks after ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days).
I've just checked and most orders are shipping in around 45 days, but yours unfortunately, is running a bit late.
Kindly note, we make each piece by hand, as one offs, which takes a little longer, but I can assure you they are well worth the wait:)
That said, I'm going ahead and asking our production team to expedite as much as possible:)

I decided to wait it out and finally received my order on July 15. That's 16 weeks of shipping time.
Also, the embroidery is not the quality I expected, and the size runs slightly large.
If you order from them make sure you order at least 3 months in advance. It took 8 weeks for my order, then they lied to me, when I inquired, they said, "As detailed on our website, your Serenity Maxi from order HC******* will ship about 3-4 weeks after the date of ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days), as everything is hand-made to order I've checked with our production team, and your Serenity Maxi is about to be dyed, which is the final stage of production." But I also received a tracking confirmation from Fedex. Some of the dresses that are "hand-made are also found for way less on Amazon. Click on photo below.
I have been waiting for my order for over 6 months now. It finally shipped and has taken over 2 weeks for it to even make it to the states, now it's stuck in customs with no idea when it's going to make it to me. They refused to cancel my order after asking multiple times, I've reported them to the FTC and the better business bureau, and will be filling a chargeback if they don't refund me my shipping. Passive aggressive customer service to boot, don't order from this company.
I placed an order and considered the 6-8 week lead time. After 14 weeks the company was unable to provide to an update on my order, after requesting several updates I was forced to reach out to my bank and declare the charge fraudulent.
The company refused to provide me with proof of purchase, as well as an order number.
I was truly disappointed about I needed the outfits for a job, which I sadly lost due to the company not fulfilling my order.
I ordered two items. Once was cotton, one was rayon. Both of them were awful.
The Brigid tunic was made out of cotton so thin you could see through it - even if you added one of the overdresses, it would be unwearable unless you wore something underneath.
I ordered the petticoat (was going to be used as a skirt under a tunic) and it was made out of rough fabric, and again so thin you could see through it.
It's been a long time since I ordered, but the last time the quality was amazing. This time? Returned them right away. At MY expense - which they don't say ANYWHERE.
Answer: Mine was a tiny bit bigger than I expected, I could have gone down to a medium but wanted the ability to adjust it
