What a waste. We ordered foam pieces last year and the size just didn't work so we ordered a larger piece. Days later they email saying they can't ship that, we told them to please figure it out since their website not only gave us the price, it charged us and went through the purchase. Instead of helping they refunded us and tried to gaslight as if they helped. I never asked for a refund I simply asked for them to ship the product we ordered and paid for. Never again! Poor garbage quality anyways, we overpaid for foam that's turning yellow.

First I started with the 2nd to firmest foam and it was like laying on the ground, and then I did the next less firm and it bottoms out completely when you lay on it with 0 support. I have no idea how they can pretend their descriptions match these products and when I called for help within the first sentence I said "I need help with an order" the lady had decided she wanted to get me off the phone. Adios $400 and I have no bed and have to take both of these to the dump.

I purchased 1-1/2" super firm foam but I had several issues with my purchase:
1. It is not firm as shown in pictures.
2. It was cut without any care and it is not clean and smooth cut.
3.Foam overall feels like a cheap material, not lux in any way.
4.When I tried to return it, they told me that they will deduct their shipping cost from my refund. I was ok with paying return shipping but they will charge you for the original shipment as well when you return the item.

I have a small home studio and needed to add some foam acoustic treatments to the walls. Not knowing if the foam would really help, I looked for a mid-priced solution as the price range for a set of foam materials can be between $40-$500. I chose Foam By Mail based on their pricing. I ordered 14 pieces in different sizes and thicknesses and can state that the material made some difference to the acoustics of the room. HOWEVER, the materials emits a nasty odor and it has been weeks since installed. The possible VOCs ( Volatile Organic Compounds) from the foam gives me a headache. I contacted the company and their suggestion was to leave a window open. Great. It's in the teens and even if it wasn't, you can't use a music studio with open windows. My recommendation, if you purchase from them, plan on leaving the material in your garage for a month or two to air out. That might help.
Update
I wrote the company again about my issue with the foam odor and they provided a partial refund so that I could take steps to mitigate the odor. I must say their customer service has been excellent in terms of quick response and resolution of issues.

Our old and not real comfortable memory foam mattresses (6 years old) in our RV needed replaced. We looked at several custom size mattress firms and asked on our RV forum for recommendations. Foam By Mail (foamfactory.com) was suggested along with a few others. Checking reviews and websites, we contacted several. The lady at foamfactory.com was extremely helpful and sent us samples. We selected what we thought we wanted, placed the order for 2 layer mattresses (4" foam bottom, 3" memory foam top) plus covers. The order arrived within a few weeks. They fit perfectly and after our 2 week trip, we absolutely love them! Very comfortable, very easy getting to sleep and no morning aches and pains! Superb product!

I ordered new foam online, I did the measurements my self. 7x26"29" I sent my cushion covers in to make sure they would fill them correctly and a Kelly took it upon her self to change my measurements Soo she could make more commission. From the back to the front of cushion is 29" They got the middle cushion right, but the other two were way off and they stick out. I ask her over and over not to change my measurements but she did it anyway and you can see the results in the photo. People ask me what's wrong with the cushions. I tell them foam by mail did it and here's the receipt

The length and width aren't the same and of course I let them know about the end result AND they decided I was the problem and tell me I can't order from them any more? The problem was her she even charged more for her $#*!ed up measurments and my cushions are almost busting open from a dum $#*!.

I recently placed an order for a matress topper foam. The order arrived promptly and although they mistakenly sent the wrong size, Veronica in customer service was exremely helpful in helping me with a replacement. The only thing required of me was pictures with a measuring tape showing the size.
They gave the option of a 50% refund or sending me a replacement at no additional cost. Because of the great service and offer to keep the wrong sized foam, I am donating it to our local Salvation Army on behalf of Faomby mail.
I will definitely refer them to family and friends.

As noted above, I did not purchase from FoamByMail, but am very suspicious about many of these positive reviews. Just a heads up... When reading through the reviews, Sort them by Date, or Newest to Oldest. Notice the "irony" of how many 5-star ratings were amazingly written on the EXACT same date. Odd how foam customers JUST happened to buy and review on the exact same day. There are also strings of 5-star reviews that seem "consistently spaced" between review dates. I could very well be wrong,... but I am leery...

I bought a couch cushion in Feb 2020. I asked the agent on the phone what is the difference between the top 2 choices and she said #1 (the most expensive) will last you around 10 years and #2 (the next tier down) will last you about 6 years and that's the only difference. I knew I wanted to change my couch within the next six yeas so I bought the second highest price option. In exactly 8 months its completely deformed and useless! I contacted them and they told me the one you bought is for minimal use. I am a one person household who works all day and uses the couch and the couch cushion 2-3 hours at most every night. How much less than that do they expect it to be. I asked for their definition of minimal use twice and they ignored me. When I said that I was told this will last 6 years, they offered 50% off of the price of the #1. I'm guessing that one will last 9 months so I need to keep buying cushions from foamsbymail.com in less than a year every year. I would think twice before I buy from this company again!

I am so glad we stumbled onto this site! I was researching to buy a new bed, a California King. Prices for beds are not very budget or family friendly. My husband & I decided on the extra firm, he loves it but I needed a thin foam topper and it's great! We were so happy with our bed that we recently bought a mattress for our 15 yr. Old son, our camper, and a foam piece for my outdoor bench seat. Love it! So thankful for this company! Michelle, Montana customer =)

I needed new foam for my couch and looked at buying it locally. I wanted really high quality, denser foam and was able to get it via foam factory. I placed my order online then called to confirm and it arrived within a week and was cut accurately. Honestly, looking at some of these negative reviews... I think the process of buying something like cushion or manufacturing foam is very different from buying a finished consumer product... It kind of requires you not to be a moron, to do some research and read a bit about compression measurements, and to know how to cut and glue to get what you want. My foam was cut to within a 1/4 inch and was packaged fine. I wanted some special angles, which I cut myself with a serrated knife and it was very simple. I ordered the dacron wrap separate and cut and adhered myself, which was also very easy (again, as long as youre not an incompetent buffoon and you have minimal experience making things). I sewed new cushion covers after I got my foam, so I was able to customize and adjust measurements appropriately. 100% satisfied with my experience and I will order more foam from them if I ever need it!
