My backpack came in record time, which is thrilling because I love wearing it! The fact I can get a back protector in it means one less bit of armour I need in my jacket in the hot Summer! Looks great, super durable with extremely clever and intelligent design. The ashvault is am amazing backpack that fits everything and keeps it dry and safe without being bulky or ugly.
You can tell a lot of love has gone into the design, and it makes a huge difference compared to other back packs (no comparison!).

Business History
It all started with a crash.
It was May 2015, and founder Amanda needed a way to commute around her new city of Melbourne. She decided on a 2007 Suzuki GSXR-600 and named her Sheba.
In January 2016, Amanda and Sheba did a local track day and came off in an off-camber corner at speed. Having no social network yet, she could have been in deeper trouble if she had crashed alone in the hills.
7 years prior, a hit-and-run crushed her mobile into the tank and her housekeys bruised her abdomen from within the jacket pocket. She also spent the night in the hospital for kidney damage. The latest crash reminded her of the realities of motorcycle riding.
While recovering, she started sketching prototypes for a bag that could be worn behind the body to make it safer to ride. This bag would later be launched as The Killswitch Pack, a versatile product that won praise from all types of riders around Australia.
The name Flying Solo Gear Company came from the leap of faith she took when leaving her home for a new life. The logo is a phoenix (rebirth) encircled in a killswitch (the start of every journey).
By March 2017, she restored Sheba into a working powerhouse with the help of two friends, and left Melbourne on an epic 18,000km solo circumnavigation around Australia. Sheba Rides Australia was further proof that she stood by her business name and the mantra “Be Brave”.
