I have several of the big brands bikes and was a loyal Specialized customer in recent years.
Among all the bikes manufacturers, Specialized ranks at the very bottom.
Their customer support as is evident from Google reviews and / or online bike forums is the absolute worst.

Their carbon frames break and crack due to manufacturing defects and practices more than any other brand on the market and unlike most other bike manufacturers, they
DO NOT HONOR THEIR so called
"LIFETIME WARRANTY"

Lust look them up on the better business bureau, look at their " F" rating and the amount of complaints submitted vs the amount resolved.

Here is the BBB definition for " F" rating:

" F rating is the BBB LOWEST GRADE"
Typically business with F rating have unanswered and/or unresolved complaints that reflects failure by the business to deal with the causes of customers problems "

Look at other bike manufacturers rating on the BBB website, no one comes even close to an F rating.

Look on YouTube for videos showing DIY carbon bikes frame repair videos, the vast majority feature broken Specialized frames.

Do yourself and your pocket a favor and go with any other brand.

Specialized is the absolute worst!

I have a dream
January 13, 2024

It's arguably the best bike company on the market if we don't take into consideration some small custom ones that make limited edition bicycles.
But as a big bike manufacturer, Specialized is the most sought-after brand for any enthusiast.
Carbon gravel bikes like Specialized Crux Pro or some S-Works masterpieces are the dream of mine.
Hopefully I will be able to afford them.

Not just fancy bikes.
January 8, 2024

All the cycling enthusiasts think about Specialized as a company that produces very quality and expensive professional bikes.
But you'd be surprised how many accessories and bicycle parts it also has.
For instance I bought myself a pair of Specialized Pathfinder Pro2Bliss tubeless gravel tires.
They have one of the best value for money and they also offer one of the best rolling resistance on the market.
Maybe only Schwalbe or Continental can compare to it, but those are brands that specialized on different types of tires.
So you can find great value products of this bike brand.

NO RESPOND FOR ONLINE REQUEST AND RETURN
May 4, 2022

I have ordered online 2 items with wrong sizes. And since the date of order, i have indicated twice that they should change to the correct sizes but there was no respond.
Upon receipt of the goods, i followed their online instructions to arrange the return. On their website, it indicates 7 days to get a respond but normally 2 days in Singapore. After waiting for 5 days, i go online to request for return again. Waited for another 2-3 days i still get no respond and i go online to request for return again. As indicated on their website, return are acceptable with goods in good unpack condition but has to be made in 15 days.
Todays is already the 16th days and still don't receive any respond!
There is no telephone number to call. The retailers are not helpful / cannot help. They advise to go online!
I call this ONLINE LIAR! If i do not get the goods returned in due course, i have to check if i can serve legal actions on them? I loss so much time and effort on this irresponsible online liar!

This is a public service announcement to cyclists. If you live in Singapore and are shopping for road bikes, don't buy from Specialized Singapore's online store. Delivery is a pain, and Singpost, which delivers for Specialized, provides absolutely zero notice about when they will be showing up at your residence to deliver the bike. Then if it so happens that you miss the delivery, they won't even provide a missed delivery slip with contact information to reschedule a delivery. It happened to me. The only thing I saw was late updates to online tracking info-- I did not even realize they attempted delivery. I think I was even home when they claimed an unsuccessful delivery. You are better off walking into an actual bike shop, picking a bike, and having their dedicated delivery service bring you the bike at home at a set schedule. Trek Singapore was way better in delivering bikes to my doorstep (I have several bikes, a mix of Trek and Specialized bikes). Considering I paid several thousand for the bike, you'd think that the delivery service would be better. Specialized should change Singpost to a better delivery service.

UPDATE: It appears that the "tracking information" is wholly inaccurate. Apparently Singpost delivered the bike components to a local bike shop and then that shop assembled it. So it was laughable when the tracking info indicated "delivered" to me. Because it wasn't. I didn't yet receive the bike. It was still with the local shop. I eventually did get the bike but not without several chats and calls to figure what the heck was going on. This whole thing begs the question of why Specialized and Singpost provide the tracking number to the customer in the first place when it is not relevant and accurate at all. The tracking info is very misleading since it seems more like tracking for the bike shop to receive the parts than for the actual purchaser of the bike. Like I said, you're better of just going straight to a good bike shop and arranging delivery than using the online store.
