Do not hire these scammers! The sales rep promises one thing and then does not deliver. They insist that there is no way out of their contract. You would think fraudsters would pick a different industry to defraud.
First, if anyone ever demands a one year contract, then their service sucks. In a year on Findlaw, and 6 months paying for a "top spot" I got exactly 1 client. I should have known better, i tried working with them about 10 years ago and had the same results, but hopped that things would have changed since then.
I got a FindLaw website last November and signed a year contract. It took them almost 5 months for them to build a 7 page website. I paid about $520 a month and got a handful of calls, mostly from other advertising companies trying to win my business. I did get one client however but it was pretty much a big waste of money. I hired a new company that does phenomenally better.
I paid for a year's service upfront. As soon as they received their money, I almost never heard from them. Also, review any contract they send you very carefully, as they required a 90-day cancellation notice to terminate, even though we had specifically agreed to a one-year service term, thus charging me for 15 months of service.
They allow anyone to review you on this site. They claim to give us 14 days to review and verify the person writing the review is someone we have worked with but I have never once received a notice of the review left under my name. The person reviewed me anonymously didn't even use my first name in the review but claimed to have signed a "contract" with me? Then claimed that one of my associates took over the case but never stated the first or last name of the so called associate. The review is fraudulent. The entire story in the review never happened at all. I've never signed up with this company for any marketing services. I've never made an account with them and I don't appreciate the false reviews damaging my private practice.
Just absolutely horrible experience. Zero leads generated but still think I am to pay them over $2600 a month. From the first month I told them to cancel the services but they try to lock you in to long term contracts because clearly they know their product sucks.
This company is a fraud! They are the most useless company that I have ever seen! They do not provide any assistance for ~2000 USD per month! It is completely worthless, irresponsive company! They just charge you for nothing and get benefit of the Thomson Reuters name! Again, this company is fraud!
I feel that I was lied to and deceived by Findlaw. I also posted my experience here about the underhanded way I am being dealt with by Findlaw. https://www.circleoflegaltrust.com/law-firm-marketing/findlaw/lied-deceived/
Lawyer Asap is KEL with a name change After 2 partners got in trouble with the bar.
After the get your money the don't do the work. They kept changing out the staff that was doing my work each change delayed my case.
Finally I asked for my flat rate fee to be returned according to our written agreement, but they said no. Filed a complaint on the better business bureau and found they have a F Rating.
Picketing the office seems like the next step. Class action, or small claims maybe. They stole 1500 from this old couple!
This is a company that is known for selling products on several year contracts and then leaving the client in the wind. Service is terrible and don't expect them to do anything with your account once set up. Even if your spending thousand of dollars with Findlaw every month, it is not important enough for them to follow through on what they sold to my Firm.
Stay away and be very cautious of there sales tactics. Bait and switch comes to my mind.
Answer: Trustworthy lawyers
