I have used this service several times. Books always come quick and are typically in as good a condition as stated or better. Only issue is shipping for each item, but you get such a good deal it's hard to complain
Just that i had to keep flipping back and forth and starting over to see what coupon codes I'd been sent in email. I can understand the per item s/h since/if items come from different sellers but would like some combined shipping minor discount for those that are coming from same seller, especially larger ones
The book came quickly and the quality was better than expected. (Now I am just filling in more characters because for some reason Alibris has decided to waste my time by requiring 100 characters in this review)

This has been one of my favorite books I've ever read on old movie stars! Ricardo Cortez was extremely handsome and a talent long forgotten. The author did a terrific job researching this book. I have read over it twice!

Today, I found the book I was looking for, plus a couple of others that have been on my "need to buy" list. One in "like new" condition is $32 less than new/retail, and the others in my cart offer significant savings as well.
I always enjoy shopping with Alibris. On a rare occasion I was disappointed by the less-than-expected quality of the book I received -- the biography of Agatha Christie -- but often the books are exactly as, or better than as described. On the whole, a very positive experience.
Very irritating when the shipping costs more than the books!
I use other used book sources (not Abebooks - they are owned by Amazon), and had better search/sort experiences. But Alibris was recommended by my local indie bookstore, so I thought I'd try it. Not impressed so far.
I don't hate it but, definitely disgruntled.
It is made far too difficult for customers to get vital questions answered and relevant information needed through this remote and impersonal ordering process, when actual assistance with a real person is actually more efficient, and preferred by more customers than you might think. And many would agree that this certainly is in keeping with good customer service -if in fact, this is of any concern to Alibris.
Every book I've ever needed: Alibris has it! Used or new, shipping is quick and easy! If you don't mind a few highlighted lines, it saves so much money!
Also, passing around the same book: saves trees 🌲 LOVE IT!
Best site to find books, especially rarer or out of print editions. Shipping from Alibris is free over $39, and the only thing to watch out for are some unscrupulous third party sellers that list items for low prices, and then charge ridiculous shipping rates that only show up during the checkout process.
Resetting my password was a trying experience. It would have been far easier to use guest checkout, but your program did not allow that.
Also $28 for shipping 6 books seems like a lot, but it save me a lot of time and money running around to find these books locally.
As has been true in previous purchases, the items I received were exactly as described on the website. The order was acknowledged quickly and shipped very soon after ordering. The mailing process seemed to drag-on for quite awhile since it was sent via the USA "snail mail." However, every thing arrived in good shape.
I received this order on time and in the condition it was advertised. Though I don't like having to arbitrarily enter extra words just to fulfill an algorithm. Please remove the 100 character limit as it is completely unnecessary. If you are asking for reviews, they should be what your customer wants to say, in their words, good or bad.
Was really surprised they had the books I needed, a lot of major brand stores failed to have my books because they were labeled to "dangerous", but knowledge is knowledge, no matter what. Search and check out was a breeze. Will definitely be coming back here for more "forbidden" information books👍
Book condition was as described and was shipped quickly. The only problem? My review was not long enough (too few characters). Guys, it was a satisfactory transaction- do I really need to expand on that?
Not as fast as my Amazon Prime stuff... but fairly priced shipping and not too long of a wait.

Book came in perfect condition. Even though it was the international version, everything important was in English (chapters and all). I did have a 1 week delay on my books from usps's end, wasn't the sellers fault. Just keep that in mind when deciding what shipping you want. I would recommend buying from the seller again!
It's just business. If I can get anything that isn't from Amazon I will. Thanks for being available Albris! BTW the book arrived in perfect condition and I am very happy to have found an online book reseller.
