I have been a customer for a while and lately their site has been going down. Constant bug fix requests have to be submitted and for the past 4 days my website has bee offline. I get support tickets addressed after 5 to 10 days.
Do not use this script if you run a business site its NOT ready for prime time.
No new updates or features added in over 9. Months. Hardly any development has occurred in my opinion.
We chose to go with a packaged solution to help with speed to market, and Advandate worked perfect for this. As long as you have some basic skills, it's all good. We spend most of our time making sure our site is unique and has fresh photo stock and content. That's really been the key, is to not use templates for everything. We needed to make the site 'Ours' to stand-out. We bumped our heads on some edits, but got it figured out. Support got back to us quick, resolved our issue and we're up and running.
Not much works and IF you can even get to support (because they lock it so you can't even put in a ticket) they are rude and tell you everything is your fault. When you say ok it's my fault how can I fix it, they will say that's your problem. I found the page saying here's the number for the owner but that's a no go as well.
The site is clunky at best and not working usually. My family is in the IT business and can't fix these issues. They will not refund, help, support or really do anything. This is a major scam STAY AWAY!
I like the fact that they are Americans. Not Russians which was a selling point for me. The second is that I talked to Darren directly on the phone. Placed the order and had it installed about an hour later. They've been great with me so far and even did a little tweaking for me without charging. I suppose since it was easy for them.
So for us it was great. I recommend them and if you have any doubts, just call them and believe me when I say you can't believe all the negative reviews. Maybe some but I highly doubt they are true about Advandate.
I wrote an email to inquire about a feature they had and I wanted it explained more to me. They misunderstood the question and when i rewrote to tell them they misunderstood my question this is a quote from Rick Jacobson "... take your $#*! on down the road"
I will never, ever buy a product from a company that treated my emails like that, good thing I did not purchase anything and advise others to stay away too...
Before purchasing, I was answered questions very promptly. Once I paid, I was told to use the online support system, which is a joke. You get a response days later if at all, and no resolution either to your problems. Their software is full of bugs. I don't know how they even sell this unfinished product. Can't believe they are still in business of fooling people, and stealing their money. My fault for not reading all their negative reviews. My loss and total dissapointment. Buyer beware!
We did a lot of research and came to Advandate and were taken care of from the very beginning. I don't know what this other person is saying but from day one Rick and company have taken great care of us. There were a couple hosting bugs but the support team resolved them right away. So in closing, we like the solution from advandate.
The program package came in with loads of bugs and less than a half of it functioning at all. The main page didn't work at all(login drop down menu), preloaded codes for the payments doesn't work, logout didn't work... actually it is easier to list what works than what doesn't. A lot of english grammar mistakes. The promised 24/7 support barely answer/provide support if at all. I am seriously considering about getting my money back and look for a better service.
My husband and I have yet to try out the software, but we have asked questions that has till today NOT been answered. We bought the software today and did all the steps they had asked in the email we got after purchase. We planned our day around it but is stuck with waiting for them to respond to us. Their customer service is horrible. In the chat bubble on the website it says that they are always available. Do not fall for that, they are not. We tried the chat bubble thing multiple times and never got any answers back. Tried calling the number on the website multiple times and left a voicemail, also never got an answer or a call back. We are still waiting for them to contact us and put the software on godaddy. I'm not sure if we need to wait or just file a claim but so far the service is HORRIBLE. Worst customer service I have ever worked with. And we are real customers (before they say it's fake) and we can also prove it with receipts.
I just started a website. I am hardly tech savvy, but Rick and his team have been great! I have needed so much help getting my site together, and him and the team have been helping me 100 percent and have been extremely patient with me. I really appreciate all of their help and would definitely recommend using them.

I bought license 15 month ago and after i asked money back from them they don't give me and they change name to advandate., they cancel me from client area login, i contact advandate. They said to me sorry we buy this domain from another company! If you want software you must pay again!, but nothing change in this software only mobile version, this have to much bugs, keep your money they are scammer!
