I've never dealt with a company as useless and shady as Zenni Optical. I returned my order, followed every step they required, and they've been stalling my refund for weeks. Now they have been in Chicago 2 days, Even thought they emailed me and said they would arrive yesterday, they didn't. Now I have been told it will be 3-7 days to get from Chicago to my house which is 5 miles away, I could probably walk that distance 10 times in 3-7 days. I have called and messaged several times regarding my last order. Was in store credited 1 pair of glasses after returning them. The company said the order was correct but they would give me a in store credit because not being happy. Regardless I told them something wasn't right with the glasses. Since then I took other pair to place my RX was written and learned the axis isn't correct either. Was told after calling I would get a return email. Never received and cannot even chat in now. I just want the correct lens or a complete refund. This has been since January. No one should have to go through this to be able to see.

The prescription entry process was a bit clunky, but the glasses for my daughter and myself arrived exactly as virtually tried on with good price and a quality product.
I purchased single vision, glasses and sunglasses I am 100% satisfied with both pairs. Great for quality great pricing my three children also wear glasses and I will be ordering all our glasses from Zenni.

Vision is bad in 3 glasses, w fresh prescription. I got a pair solely for the blue transitions and they are light grey and don't go to full sunglass darkness
I got two pairs, one had wrong description and it was so small for my face and when I contacted them they apologized and they asked to send back the first pair but I have to pay for shipping the replacement one!

I love Zenni's frame options for the more avant gard styles. I have ordered twice from them. I paid last year for expedited (5-10 days) shipping and it took 16 days to receive my glasses. This year, I didn't pay because there really was no expedition of the order. I ordered Feb 11. On the 14th I received a notice they had been manufactured and were enroute to the distribution center. It has taken 8 days to arrive at the distribution center. I received a notice today 2/22 that a tracking number had been created but they haven't actually shipped yet. I suspect by the time they do, it will be approximately about the same time. If you need something right away, they are not great. I would recommend buying your staple at Costco or somewhere you can get them right away and just using Zenni as a fun back up since they are not reliable and the customer service when you inquire is flippant at best. Do not pay for expedited shipping. You won't receive them any faster for the $20 charge.
I will only buy from Zenni Oprtical for now on. Hands down the best customer service on or off line. Responsive, fast and easy to communicate with. Thank you Zenni Optical!
I purchased two prescription eyeglasses in 2022! The reason for two pair is to ensure that I have a backup. One of them have transition lenses the other doesn't. I purchase one pair in 2023 that pair last about 6 months and then one of the arms broke. I spoke to a rep before ordering new frames to transfer my lenses into and they confirmed that it will work. To summarize the lenses did not fit into the new frames of the same shape. I love ZENNI fashionable frames but will be sticking with LensCrafters from now on. If my frame break they'll replace or fix them. I was unable to get my lenses into the new frame. That was a bummer bye Zenni.

I ordered 3 pairs, one for reading, one for distance and a pair with Transitions lenses.
I live in Canada, so my first impression was clouded by the lack of a decent shipping option. It took longer than I would like to receive my glasses.
When they arrived I could immediately see that the pair with Transitions lenses was a bit wacky. I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong, but I just knew there was a problem.
So I went to my optician who graciously tested the lenses for free. He found the left lens was either defective or the astigmatism was improperly corrected.
My optometrist said this type of issue can happen and wasn't really uncommon in the industry. He didn't think it was a commentary on Zenni per say.
When I called Zenni to report the issue, they insisted on me shipping the glasses back by regular mail (approx. 10 days), then they would perform their own tests (approx. 14 days) and then replacement glasses would be remade and shipped by snail mail (14 more days). The whole process threatened to take more than a month, by my estimation.
I wrote a complaint in their customer survey and thankfully someone in the customer service department took pity on me and decided to trust my optometrist. They agreed to remake the new glasses immediately.
My new glasses arrived in approx. 10 days and they are great.
This is my way of saying that I think Zenni is a good company, they make an excellent product, but they are not exactly geared for the Canadian market.

The prices have increased significantly making them barely cheaper than buying on site with my vision insurance. The quality of the lenses has decreased significantly. Further every time I order anything additional to the glasses I have to chat in to have it sent. In this last instance I was told to photograph my order which seems inane, they wanted me to literally dig the packaging out of the trash and photograph it. How hard would it be if someone was trying to lie about receiving something to just not include it in the photo? They then changed tactics to oh, it was sent but at a different speed than the glasses. Great, where is the tracking number and why is it showing delivered on my order page? I did not appreciate their chat support trying to make it seem like I was out of line for wanting the products that I ordered or at the very least showing an accurate status page.
