The forecasting service when it comes to snow prediction has been awful. Zero stars! The MLK Day storm put communities at risk as the storm started well before predictions and the amounts and snowfall rates were much higher. Same with the following Friday storm (Jan 19). And forget about the Feb 16,2024 storm predictions (1-5" or up to 6"), how much snow fell in DC/Northern Virginia? A big fat trace! Many jurisdictions blew up their staffing budgets based on bogus forecasting. Get better quick, millions rely on ACCURATE forecasting!
