I ordered 5 bottles of Solaray Yucca with 100 capsules in each bottle that I take one a day. I paid Shipping charges to have it shipped to me. Vitaglo sent me 5 bottles that all expires within 90 days, meaning before I could even finish the 1st bottle, it's already expired. Vitaglo said the put the bottles in the fridge or freezer, which I called Solaray to see if that was okay or not. Solaray said No, to not put this product in the fridge or freezer. Solaray says the product lose potency over time and based on the old bottle packaging that I received from Vitaglo, Solaray knows that this product has been sitting on Vitaglo's shelf for close to 3 years. Vitaglo knows better than to ship me 5 bottles (500-day supply) that's almost 3 years old and all expiring in 90 days. The whole reason for taking a supplement is for it's potency. I called the Vitaglo manager (Michael) requesting for a Pre-Paid Return Label to send 4 of the bottles back since I already wasted money to have it shipped to me and can't use it or at least credit me the Shipping charges, but he refused and hung up on me. Incredibly unprofessional and horrible experience. Vitaglo trying to sell me products thats about to expire without disclosing that to me in advance. What a scam!
Waited 2 weeks for my order and it still said "in process". I called and was rushed off the phone after they said they didn't know what happened to it. They said they'd call back. But no. Called again to cancel the order and when I asked to receive a confirmation of the cancellation and refund, the guy hung up on me. Never again. I'll probably have to go through the credit card company to challenge the charge. What a hassle.
Dear Vitaglo Represenative;
I feel that you are a bad company who take advantage of people. I ordered a super colon Cleanse in a white plastic bottle showing the human bowel track and you send me that red/white bottle Super Colon Cleanse. Just because I am a new client, my money is green like everyone else. Then I try to call you and you have a phony number as well. The more you cheat people out of money, you will loose 10X's the price that people paid. So, if you have no number to contact you and you're sending people the wrong product you are telling me that you are close to going out of business already! The white bottle is what I order and you sent this red/white bottle of Super Colon Cleanse stuff the don't work. I have-had this before! When I pulled up Vitaglocom the white bottom showed up and that's what I ordered.
But you sent me this lousy red bottle of HeallthPlus Super 'Colon Cleanse, and that's bad business and you phone number is out of order, and everything is wrong about your company!
You should be ashamed of yourself!
Wish I had read reviews before wasting my time placing an order. NO communication, so I emailed a cancel request, which shows up on their website as cancelled, but my payment still shows pending, and I am having trouble cancelling with paypal at this time. I will file a resolution if i can, but what a WASTE of time and effort to deal with them. Feels like a SCAM operation, BEWARE!
Placed an order that I never received, I never received any communication from the company whatsoever, one month later, I had to call the company for the product information to find out where my order was only to find that the company doesn't sell that product anymore. The customer service was so rude. I was hung up on simply by asking where my order was and why I was charged.
I can honestly see why this company only has 1.5 stars for reviews, you may want to hire people that actually enjoy their job. There are people out there that do tend to like what they do. You might want to find those people.
I purchased 2 bottles of enzymes for my migraines. Picture and company shown on webpage. Received different bottles different company. Asked for a refund. Was told original company was bought out by new bottle shown (both been around a while) I was not comfortable so asked for full refund. I was refused with a very frustrated angry customer service person who before hanging up on me told me to just send an email which he was the one answering and told me NO again! It doesn't even matter why I want a refund, if a customer asks it should be given. I received products I didn't order and faithfully paid for them with $10 extra for shipping. The enzymes I were sent were less expensive than the ones I ordered too everywhere else so even if this information is correct, I could have saved ordering through another company, maybe who cares. This one clearly DOESN'T. This csr needs to find new work! He is clearly burnt out and frustrated and angry! NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM! But I don't think they care. Customers are their last concern. ( black label picture is of what was sent) (The original I ordered was from enzymatic therapy with a blue label) You can clearly see on the receipt it says Enzymatic Therapy brand.
This was the most rude terrible customer service I have ever experienced my whole life! Absolutely Disgusting! I made an order and called in to inquire about it, a guy answered Like he was answering his house phone I asked hi is this vita glo he yells yes! Then I asked ok I just made an order he completely cut me off asked for my order number and yelled it is canceled this is not in stock. Then I said ok I'm sorry but you didn't have to yell he yells again and says well its canceled so do whatever you want and hangs up the phone. I was in total shock! What kind of people are running this business so trashy and unprofessional and terrible attitudes! Unreal will never ever even look at this site again! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I ordered some Quest Bars... the same ones I eat on a daily basis. I received the bars and they are inedible. They seem to have been melted and then refrozen. They are hard as rocks. The expiration date is not for another 3 months but they are horrible. I called customer service and they totally blew me off saying that they don't guarantee satisfaction! They said I could mail the boxes back AT MY EXPENSE to get a refund. For a faulty product, they should pay for the shipping. I'll never order from them again. He actually told me I was lucky to get one of the flavors as they don't make them anymore lol... how does that matter if they are rotten!
I placed an order for vitamins on June 7th. I called today, June 21st, and spoke to a person named mike. I asked Mike about my order since I had had no communication from the company. Mike told me that he would call me right back and he had to look into it. More than half an hour later I decided to call back, and Mike answered. Mike proceeded to tell me that he was canceling the order because he told me he would call me back and that I called back too soon and could not wait for his call back. I suggested to him that half an hour wasn't long enough and he said no and repeated that he was canceling the order. When I asked him for a specific reason why he was ordering the cancellation, he told me just because I couldn't wait. Needless to say that there was no communication whatsoever for the past two weeks from when I initially made the order. The customer service I received was horrible and I am not too sure who Mike is, but Mike is certainly a detriment and not a person who should be doing customer service nor selling anything to the general public. I would give this company negative stars if it was possible.
Placed an order for over $100 and should have been free shipping. Still hadn't shipped 6 days after placing order so I called and they demanded and extra $10 for shipping. I asked why since it was over $100. The guy said fine we'll just cancel the order and he hung up...
If I could give them less than one star I would. Ordered items that were never shipped. When I checked on status, they said they didn't ship to my State but never told me that was a problem. Very rude on the phone and just hung up.
They have good price, but they don't send you everything. I order 4 item from this website. The prices were good, great service, but I missed one item. I emailed them asking them when I would have it... Mike, the guy who answered my email told me, the item would be out next day. After 2 ½ weeks, I'm still waiting for my missing item with not respond after 2 more emails I sent them... Just to let people know, we are not saving money for real with this people. You pay less for items, but they get your money by don't sending the whole order.
I placed an order with Vitaglo.com (Aka Discount Natural Foods. Received an order confirmation promptly. Over 3 weeks later, no updates at all. Email requests for order status went unanswered. Called the "customer service" number and asked for order status. I was asked for my zip code. When I went to explain the reason for my call, the person barked "stop talking". I told him to "be nice" and he hung up the phone. I called back and asked why he barked at me and he told me he hates it when people keep talking when he is looking up orders. Not the person you want to assist you.
Anyway they never had the item in stock but I never got any updates stating that. The order was then cancelled. When I asked about the lack of communication, I was told "don't know.
Save the hassle & avoid this company.

Sadly, I was expecting Vitaglo to be on par with places like vitacost or iherb, but when my package arrived damaged, (the lotion tubes both had holes in them, and were leaking) I contacted customer service and was told to send photos, which I did. I had to email them again to ask what was going on and then received a quick response, stating they were filing a claim with the carrier. No other protocol.in place, it's been weeks and I requested an update, with no response. Any other company would have better customer service and show that they care about their customers by refunding, or replacing the items and handle the claim in-house, instead of dragging the customer through the murky values of their business. I would, surely never patronize them again.
Ordered 6 bottles of a vitamin supplement totaling $148 and the company shipped an alternate product in a much smaller quantity and charged my credit card $37. VitaGlow ignored my emails, was rude and belligerent and hung up on my telephone calls. Eventually VitaGlo indicated they would send a return shipping label for me to return the incorrect product, but they did not. Very poor customer service. Avoid VitaGlo.
Add me to the many negative reviews here. I ordered a product from these folks to help with wound treatment. I needed it right away. The order was confirmed and a credit authorization filed by the vendor. When I hadn't heard anything more after 12 days I phoned. The guy said, "Sorry. Out of stock." I replied, "I really wish you had let me know." He said, "Sorry. Bye." I could easily have looked elsewhere if the vendor had simply notified me that the item was not available. Not good. I won't be doing business with them again, and I recommend that others look elsewhere. There are many reputable, considerate online vendors, so there's no reason to put up with this kind of nonprofessional and inconsiderate practice.
On Christmas, I placed an order for LIVING FLOWER ESSENCES HEALING SALVE. I'd purchased this item a few years ago. It's great for muscle pain. I recently found the old container and googled to find a store that carried this item now. On, 1-11, after I hadn't received my order, I emailed Customer Service to see what had happened to my order. I received an email from Mike stating that my order had been canceled because he couldn't get the products. When in the HELL was VitaGlo going to let me know the order had been canceled? Customer Service AT ITS WORST! If possible, I would have rated this Company ZERO stars.

ZERO STARS! I ordered 3 Vega Premium Protein Powder 4 lbs. I received 7 of the smaller containers. The weight does come out to a little over the 12 lbs. that I ordered. However, I got 2 of the Chocolate, 2 of the Mocha, and 3 of the Vanilla. That means that I did not get to choose the flavor of the 3rd container. Now I have 7 containers to store instead of 3 which I ordered. I called VitaGlo (a division of Discount Natural Foods) customer service and someone answered that was short with me, sounded stressed and annoyed that I called. While I was trying to figure out the math to what he was explaining to me, he was frustrated and impatient. I finally told him that he was not being very nice to me. He replied "Don't call me names!" I did not call him a name but I was thinking it. He was rude, impatient, and annoyed with my call. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. Worst customer service representative ever! I wish I had read the hundreds of negative reviews about this business before I purchased from them. Hopefully, this will save someone else from purchasing from this company.
Answer: They should be prosecuted, shut down and made to pay every loss back. How are they getting away with this kind of business practice. How in the world has this gone on so long?
