I just purchased a H2O simm card from Target. This is one of the few places to purchase the card. I spent over an hour on the phone with H2O updating and installing the new card and found out that it was an old card. The date of the card is 2018. This makes my phone unable to send or receive pictures of any kind. Skip the BS and just get your simm card sent from H2O, it will save you a lot of headaches. Not the first time of experiences getting out dated merchandise.
I can call in to check a gift card balance WITHOUT an account or password but I am forced to login to my account if I want to check the balance online. Target does not need to know my personal information as to the balance of my gift card. If I don't have an account does that mean I can only check via calling? Are there any brains in corporate American anymore? The most senseless thing. One brain cell will take you far.
I placed a order for pick up at the inver grove heights, mn location. Upon calling and wantng to be connected to guest services on a question. After being connected to this department there was no answer, the phone would ring and ring and then it would disconnect. I tried several times during the day and no answer. Upon speaking to my daughter she stated that they never answer their phone and she has tried many times in the past year to check on things and always no answer. Whats up with the customer service at this store.
No more shopping or Rx. I was a loyal shopper. But no more. I was very, very, very disappointed with getting rid of DEI. That helped women, people of color.
Preauthorized the total of my incomplete purchase THREE TIMES OVER across two PayPal accounts just because I added them to the order when I was thinking about placing it/switched the payments and PayPal accounts around to make it so that the charges would go where I wanted them to, but instead they held the funds X3 & on both accounts even though I ultimately discarded the order/never actually placed it! I deleted the items in the cart and even removed my PayPal accounts from my Target account in an effort to get my funds back, since that's what they suggest you do in their FAQs to facilitate a hold release, but to no avail.
Their customer service seems to be totally clueless about the issue and referred me back to PayPal even though they clearly state in the aforementioned FAQs that PayPal will not be able to do anything about it. This is on the merchant to either finalize or cancel the transaction/authorizations, but they won't! In fact, they advise that these PayPal holds can last up to A YEAR before being released! So now I'm out almost $90 and I have absolutely nothing to show for it but stress and frustration, Avoid adding payment methods to online Target purchases until you're absolutely certain you want to place that order or else risk losing access to your funds indefinitely!
Purchases online earned a 10 dollar gift card.
When used the gift card in store towards purchases, I noticed the next day that they charged my bank account as a separate transaction for the $10 card. Waited on phone call to customer service 28 mins, to no avail. WHAT A SCAM! THIS IS WHY I SELDOM SHOP AT TARGET.
The service in Beaumont TX store is very poor. I went there to pick up an order placed online. When I arrived there were 4 people ahead of me in the line. Soon there were 6 people behind me. There was only one associate working the pickup orders. She had to work the front service deck and go to the back of the store to retrieve the orders. I was there 45 minutes just to pick up an order. I asked for a manager. A dept. manager came; not the manager of this dept. Another dept. manager came. Then an assistant manager. The manager refused to come to speak with me. The store was not full considering it is one week before Christmas. There was merchandise on the floor in the women's clothing areas, the floors were actually dirty, associates avoid eye contact to discourage customers from asking for assistance. I left my phone number and asked that the manager contact me. It has been 7 hours since I left the message. I do not expect a call. She was too cowardly or apathetic to speak with a concerned customer. These are the reasons that most customers prefer shopping the largest online retailer. This may be just another store to shutter in Beaumont, not from low demand but because of extremely poor customer service and the ineffective and inefficient management.
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
Target cancelled a delivery to me based on proven lies. Then, Customer Service would not allow me to talk, and spoke to me in a demeaning, accusatory manner. I ordered 10 items from Target, which has delivered to me for the past 6 years. The delivery never came, and no one contacted me. They claim they came to my door. I live in a concierge building, and when a delivery comes, the concierge calls me. They did NOT come. They claim they tried to reach me and I was "unavailable". I found out (the hard way), that Target subcontracts its deliveries to a company called Shipt. Evidently, although Target agreed Target has my correct phone number, they say apparently Shipt did not. They charged my card, for $75. When I called CS (Customer Service), Target insisted Shipt tried to reach me and deliver the order, even after I explained how my concierge, and Target, both had my correct number. I never knew about Shipt, nor how they got my number, right or wrong. The CS person said Target would not contact Shipt with my correct number. They said I must navigate that, myself. I replied that I had nothing to do with Shipt, and if Target hires them, it is Target's responsibility give the correct delivery info to their subcontractor. The CS agent would not cooperate, and insisted I must track down Shipt. According to the Customer Service agent, Ella, everything was my fault, no apologies, no empathy. Just persistent insistence that I was wrong, that I was lying, and that it's my responsibility to contact Shipt. So I will not use Target any more. Their CS department should be renamed, Customer Disservice! This complaint is a warning for others.
Ordered from target.com, picked up 1 of 3 packages. Told the other packages did come to the store, there is no record of pickup. Called store. They agreed that the packages came to store, and they are aware they were not picked up. Store told me to call Target.com for refund, since they cannot find packages and they know I didn't pick them up. Target.com said: "No refund for you!" Just like that! Target.com said that I wanted to receive free packages by stealing them and asking for a refund. Stolen from where? They came to the store and the store shipping clerk acknowledged receiving them, and there was no pickup. I didn't get my order and wanted my $33-$35 back.
Target.com said: No, and we're tired of talking with you. Enjoy your holiday - minus your money, we're keeping your payment, no refund. Wow, setting the standard for excellent
Customer service. And just like that, my money is stolen from me - no exchange of goods or services for my money, not even a gift card. Too scared to even go back. Will I be assaulted and frisked, money stolen at the door? Target is REALLY making money ($33-$35). They are such a superstore they don't even have to sell you the goods, just take your money, no matter how small the amount. Amazing customer relation strategy - I didn't receive my whole order, but Target.com gets to keep the
money I paid in advance for the order? I never understood online ordering before, but I do now: you may or may not get your goods, but your money is theirs from the start. I am not a gambler.
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
