A very mixed and conflicted experience this time around with my interior light kit upgrade. My first time was with a 2017 Subaru Forester and I was in awe. This time - a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Part of the issue is the design differences between the vehicles which impact the way the LEDs throw light. For example, replaceing the courtsey lights on the Forester made a great impact at night; however, one doesn't get that same impact with the Outback, in part, because of the door design impacting the courtsey light location. Another issue, a negative one, was the quality of the tools sent with the kit. I broke two. Compared to my first set with my Forester there appears to be a different plastic resin being used with different chemical properties. I managed to finish my Outback installation using the tools I saved from my Forester install. All in all, I do love getting rid of the OEM bulbs with their yellow, dull light. I went with the 6000K. I think I am somewhat underwhelmed with this kit because i lived 6 years with the Forester and I greatly loved the lighting improvements everyday I was in it from that first Precision LED interior kit.

At first I was impressed with PrecisionLED's marketing photographically measuring interior lighting improvements and emphasizing "LED bulbs that are carefully selected for your specific model". I did my own research and found competing bulbs for half the price but I decided it was best to leave it up to PrecisionLED to be certain I had the right parts and dome and map LEDs that matched one another (CAN bus, luminosity, color temperature, dimensions, bulb type).

Unfortunately, the LEDs that were sent to me did not match what was in the product photos that I was expecting to receive: They were the wrong dimensions, and wrong bulb type. They let me do an exchange. It still didn't fit right but I made it work.

The actual lighting was a huge improvement! But, unfortunately, my dome light has already burnt out after a year and a half (5000 miles).

I ordered a LED kit back in 2017 for my jeep wrangler and the dome light failed. The Customer Service rep stated "We did not introduce lifetime warranty until 2019 when we brought in our newer model bulb. However, the warranty information on the web site clearly indicates a "life time warranty" and does not exclude purchases prior to 2019, as follows: "Our lifetime warranty is limited to one replacement only. For example, if you order a kit with 10 LED bulbs, the maximum number of replacements we can warranty is 10 LED bulbs." Please be aware that this company does not stand by their products if they fail. Therefore, I will no longer be a customer of their products, as they do not honor their warranty or written policy(s).

The bulbs for the vanity didnt fit and shorted out the vanity and dome lights and reversed lights also does not work
