We had a great night at Kelly's Landing. Danielle our server was awesome, made some great recommendations. Love the beat salad. Will be back!
Last July 27th around 5:30pm I paid a visit to Kelly's Landing. I'm from out of town visiting family for the first time in almost 2 years.
I try to make a point of dropping in for dinner. Kelly's makes the best calamari I've had outside of Italy. No understatement! Everyone I've introduced to Kelly's loves it.
My contribution to dinner that evening was 3 orders of calamari. I called repeatedly, no one picked up. Being less than 2km away I drove over.
It wasn't very busy. I ask the bartender if I could place a takeout order only to be told Kelly's doesn't do takeout!
Wait what?! What restaurant doesn't provide takeout during the pandemic?! It's how so many restaurants have survived. The website clearly has an online portal. I couldn't believe what she just told me. I wanted 3 orders of calamari, not dinner for 15.
When I returned empty handed everyone was shocked & disappointed. We were really looking forward to it.
I've tried contacting Kelly's on 3 occasions and have yet to receive a proper response. My final attempt was met with an inquiry about my resume! Clearly stated, I wasn't applying for a job.
I have no idea what's going on here. But one thing is apparent. Kelly's Landing could care less. I suppose being a success establishment they can afford to be rude & indifferent.
If I treated clients that way, I would lose them & my job.
