Great price, but I'm having problems claiming warranty information due to the order confirmation containing no date. The "Need Expert Advice?" telephone number leads me to a 'congratulations, you've just won...' automated attendant that does not allow any other option except to claim the 'prize'. So frustrated!
I cannot get thru anymore on the website-- the insurance I bought to repair the units is no longer working. Stay way!
BUYER! DO NOT BE FOOLED! Notice the reviews are almost entirely 1 or 5! Definitely it is a zero! They run just legitimately enough (not really) that their true business, credit card charge kiting, doesn't land them in Federal Prison. You - will - be - sorry!
Be very careful ordering from this site. They use shoddy shipping services. If the piece is damaged, like our range was, you can't return it after you've accepted shipment. There was only the driver, a small guy, to deliver it. My wife inspected it but the driver rushed her and she didn't know what to look for so we ended up with a banged up range.
On 10/9/2011 I ordered a new Washing Machine. I had shopped several sites and this one had the best price. I had called or chatted with every site I visited EXCEPT this one. My Bad!
After a couple of days, I logged in to check the status of my order, no status - so I called and was told by a live person that it takes 3 -4 weeks for an item to ship! Everyone else was 7 - 10 days.
I patiently waited - while listening to the wife complain about the laundromat. Finally, on 11/8/2011 I again called and again spoke to a live person, who assured me he understood my frustration and he needed to check with his supervisor. He came back on the phone to guarantee me I would have my washer by Friday the 11th or at the absolute latest, Monday the 14th.
On 11/10/2011 I noticed that my checkbook had more money than it should have and sure enough, home everything had done a refund. That is why they got one star. FAST FORWARD TO 11/14/2011 AND MY ACCOUNT IS NOW OVERDRAWN BECAUSE THE A$$HOLES WITHDREW THE $758.19 AGAIN. I THOUGHT IT WAS ODD OVER THE WEEKEND THAT I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM THEM TELLING ME THAT I SHOULD BE RECEIVING A REFUND (THAT I HAD ALREADY RECEIVED 2 DAYS PRIOR) BUT I DIDN'T THINK MUCH MORE ABOUT IT. THEIR E-MAIL SAID IF I DIDN'T GET IT WITHIN A WEEK TO 10 DAYS, I SHOULD INITIATE A CHARGEBACK. DID I THINK TO RETAIN THE E-MAIL, NOPE, I HAD MY MONEY SO I DUMPED THE E-MAIL. I AM SURE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR NYS WOULD HAVE LIKE A COPY OF THAT! I WANT TO TAKE AWAY MY 1 STAR!
I called another company and learned from their live person that the washer I ordered was on National Back-order from the manufacturer and had been for some time. They too did not have one in stock. He offered a slightly more expensive model but I chose to continue to shop and then Home Depot sent me an e-mail with their Black Friday Specials.
I got a better machine for less. I ordered it yesterday from their web site and it will be delivered on Tuesday 11/15/2011 - they called me today to confirm! I won't do business with Home Everything again and I would encourage others to avoid them like the plague!
All they had to do to make me a Happy Customer was tell me up-front in one of the several marketing e-mails or when I spoke to them that the washer was on back-order and I would have understood. They didn't, I spent over $100 taking clothes to the laundromat for the month that I waited and the best they could offer was "sorry".
After waiting over two months for a washer and dryer set that I ordered from HomeEverthing, and after taking my money, they cancelled my order. My request to have a manager call me was never fullfilled. When you write them you always get an automated response back. I was told that nothing was backordered when I made the order. After a month, they told me that an item had come damaged and they would have to reorder. Two weeks later, I was told that my order would ship in a week and that they had the items. Two weeks after they they promised to ship in another week. When that didn't happen they offered free 5 year warranties to wait an additional week. Then they just up and cancelled. If you crave stress and disappointment go ahead and order from these people.
I placed an order with this company in August. Every time I would check on my order they would keep putting off the shipping date. I finally called them with the intent to cancel but first I asked again for the status of my order. They said it would be shipped in a week. I then insisted that they told me it would be shipped today. They said oh yes it would go out today. My wife called the next day and checked on the order and they said it would ship in a week. We cancelled the order.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE UNSCRUPULOUS NEANDERTHALS! Their only goal is to make interest on your money!
Horrible experience. Deals too good to be true are probably not true. Place order for washer/dryer. The company charged our credit card immediately. After 2 weeks and several inquiries we were told they would be shipping soon. Then told they had been shipped. Then a few days later told they could not source the items we ordered. Asked for a refund, the company said they would refund the money. Credit never received on our credit card account. Multiple attempts to contact Homeeverything, the best they could tell me is they refunded our money (but could not produce any transaction receipt or proof they credited the account). We filed a dispute with Credit Card Company. Be sure to check Better Business Bureau reports on this company. Based on my experience I will never do business with this company in the future. If you decide to order a product with this company be sure to review the free shipping policies (in my opinion I felt mislead).
Everything bad said about homeeverything it true, late shipping if shipped at all, take forever to get your charge card refunded if at all, they will hang up, lie or whatever to drage your order out to use your money!
Placed an order for a grill in early June. After not getting an answer to when I would receive the item I cancelled the order june 23. Still no refund to my credit card one month later despite numerous calls to them where they assured me the refund would be in my account within 3 business days.
If I could rate a ZERO, I would. I ordered an LG refrigerator on May 25. I received an email confirmation stating that my order would ship within 7-14 days. They charged my CC on May 25 for the full amount. I patiently waited for my order. On June 22, I emailed and called them saying that I have not received any communication from them regarding my order and needed to know the status. I did not get a response. I emailed again on June 24 and demanded a refund if I did not receive a response. I got an email response from a sales rep. He emailed and said that my item will be shipped out shortly. He even added a 5 yr warranty to my order for free. On June 28, I received a shipping confirmation saying that it would ship out June 29. I check on June 29, the shipping date changed to June 30. On June 30, I checked again and it shows an estimated shipping date of July 1. It is now July 5, the estimated shipping date is now July 6?!?!?!? I am beyond frustrated as I have paid for the refrigerator on May 25. It is now more than a month and I have not received my order! I called AMEX to cancel my purchase and they are handling the dispute now.

1) THE ORDER
Ordered Samsung RF266AEPN Refrigerator on MAY 19. RECEIVED order on JUNE 28. More that a MONTH after ordering.
The original shipping date on my order came and went without any notification from HomeEverything. Only after calling and sitting through a short rant from the customer service rep about how I shouldn't have ordered THAT fridge, did I get a promise that they would ship in a week.
One week later, no notification or shipment. Called. Told that they would be shipping in a week and offers me a $100 discount.
Never saw the discount.
Finally shipped.
2) THE DELIVERY
The delivery service arrived 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled 9AM-1PM time frame. Fortunately I was close enough to get back before they left.
Found out the delivery person had not been given notification of my PRE-PAID IN-HOME DELIVERY, and proceeded to gripe and complain about having to bring it in the building. Eventually the fridge was left in my parking space because the dimension of the fridge made it impossible to fit through the door without removing the doors... an extra $30-$50 charge.
3) THE LEMON
Installed the fridge. Plugged it in. Everything works fine... or not. One day later the fridge stops cooling. Technician says there's a crack in the system and all the gas has leaked out.
SUMMARY
Don't be fooled by HomeEverything's low prices.
Terrible service. Lengthy delivery times. Defective merchandise (which maybe can be blamed on the delivery company).
I am hoping to save more than $2000 in coupons and Rebates from homeeverything.com. This is an unbelievable deal.

The secret to Home Everything seems to be patience. I ordered a Weber grill in late May for an awesome price w/ free shipping and no sales tax. Was a little miffed to see that they charged my card the next day but I wouldn't be receing the grill for three weeks. Then I read all the one star reviews. I was worried. But I waited. And my order was dealyed... by three days. Then I got a delivery e-mail and my grill showed up this morning. Per HE's email instructions, I checked the grill over before I signed for it, all looked good. Just assembled and it's perfect.
I didn't bother calling HE because I think they are jus a drop shipper or something. But in the end I got exactly what I wanted for a great price.
HE would get four stars if they'd communicate BEFORE I purchase something that I'll have to wait a month.
Now that I know the deal, I'll shop with them again.
Outstanding! HE exceeded my expectations! I was very doubtful about making such a big purchase online, but HE customer service made me feel at easiness. I got a live person each time I called and strange as it may sound, was never put on hold. Their product knowledge was outstanding. Thanks!
Here is my email to homeeverything's "customer service" department. Please do not order from this site. You will only regret it as I do now.
I am writing in regards to an order I placed over a month ago and as of today have not received it. My credit card was charged a few days after I placed my order and I thought my order would arrive soon after that. I checked the status and was given a time frame that has now passed and still no order. I emailed before and received a generic reply about my order shipping out in the next week. Today I finally got someone on the phone and was told that you did not have my zip code. How is it that my card was charged and yet I never heard from you asking to verify the zip code if that was truly the problem?
This was my first experience with your company and I am extremely disappointed. There was no apology about the mix-up and no reassurance that you will truly rectify the situation. I will NOT recommend you guys to anyone I know. I'm quite frankly surprised that you are in business if this is the way you deal with paying customers. The least you can do is train your customer service reps to pretend to care about the situation. Did you think you were just going to keep my $1,373.56 and did not actually have to deliver my order? I order online quite frequently and have never had such an awful experience as I am having with your company.
I have been a customer of HE for more than a few years. When I need appliances, the local store, which is now closed, was hit or miss on my needs and the prices were always high. HE has never let me down; amazing savings, wonderful fast delivery, and customer service satisfaction. The multiple product section makes it easy for me to shop and compare features. I have never been disappointed
Placed order for pickup on-line. Nothing exceptional happened at the store but the staff worked rather professionally. Didn't offer me any warrantees which was a good thing.
Ditto. Same story as everyone else here... paid $3,000 for appliance that never showed up. They kept emailing with delay after delay, and after months I finally cancelled my order. Now I've been waiting weeks for the refund to process. I just got off the phone filing a claim with AMEX. Worst experience I've EVER had. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Don't walk away from this place... RUN!
