At first I believed the hype around the dangers of ordering contact lenses online without a prescription, but then I read.

"The B. C. government is allowing online sales of contact lenses and eye glasses, the first province to let consumers shop without renewing a prescription from an eye-health professional." in the Globe and Mail.

Seems like British Colombia believes adults are capable of making their own decisions regarding their contact lenses and eye glasses.

GlobalLens is my go to supplier for Canada contacts as well. Never had any problems. Delivery is a little slow, but they're coming from Canada, so I don't leave it to the last pair before I refill. Prices are quite reasonable.

I normally pay about $50/$55 per box of contacts. I ordered the same box from GlobalLens for only $36 per box and paid $10 shipping (somewhere near $87 all together for both boxes)

I was avoiding paying $160 to my eye doctor for a new prescription (well, eye appointment). Ordering from GlobalLens saved me about $30 on the contacts and $160 for not needing a prescription. So, all together I'm happy that I saved nearly $200 using their service. I thought at first it may be a scam since their site looks a little too simple, but its really just an easy to use site!

Shipping took about two weeks, since it came all the way from Vancouver (north of Washington State) to the east coast (Delaware). But tracking info was provided!

As a college student, I don't have the liberty to spend tons of money on things. In order to obtain my prescription renewed and purchase new contact lenses I was looking at over $160 and even though it might seem like a little it seemed like a lot to me.
I was a bit hesitant ordering them online after viewing some negative reviews but overall the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! I ended up paying $51 and shipping was free! I will definitely purchase my contacts with GlobalLens again in the new future!

Been ordering from them for about a year now. I was a bit worried the first time I ordered thinking I was about to get took, but that was not the case. The prices are a bit higher than what I would normally pay, but keeps me from having to go to the eye doctor. The only downside is shipping take about 10 days, so you have to be on top of how much lens you have left. They always deliver on time, no problems. If they had faster shipping I would be ecstatic

I was a bit nervous to order after reading a few bad reviews on here. I live in hawaii and saw they only offer ground shipping to the US. I emailed them and recieved a response by the next business day assuring me it would be no problem and shipping would still be the same price. I ordered weeklies in my Rx, with "ground" shipping. The cost was slightly higher than most discount sites, but I have yet to find one who ships to Hawaii at this rate. I recieved a shipping confirmation within 24 hours and my contacts arrived within the week. I am pleased with my purchase, the customer service and I plan to order through them again.

I ordered my contacts about a week ago. Got a tracking number after just a couple of days. They left Canada and went to San Fran, then the very next day they were in Ft. Myers, FL and same day in my mail box. Great service. I ordered my regular prescription, which is mono vision... one lens is for close and the other distance, but I also wanted a color like I had many years ago. I ordered the Brilliant Blue by Freshlooks by Ciba. My only concern was that the diameter was set and you had to take what they offered. Well, I have to say, they are perfect and I also have to say; boy has the color contacts come a long way since I wore them many, many years ago. They are colored like a real iris. Last ones I had were just plain BLUE. Great company, great service. I will order again.

I was a little concerned with ordering contacts (and spending $80) with a site based out of the US. I couldn't find a lot of reviews, but decided to give it a go! My contact lens rx had just expired and I had missed the date to reorder by a few weeks. I placed an order for 2 boxes of a brand of contact lenses that I had not tried before. I received them in less than 2 weeks and all is great! No issues at all. I am thrilled with this company. I will be back to order more in the future!
