Centre Point

I am a budget backpacker who travels to at least 7 countries every year. I travelled to Bangkok last month with a friend who insisted we stay at the Centre Point hotel in Thong lo. Before, I wasn't really particular with the hotels I've been staying and usually book the cheapest rooms I could get. But our recent trip made me realize that your hotel experience is just as important as the itinerary itself. Centre Point was one of the best in the hospitality industry. Not only were our rooms kept clean at all times, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

A few months ago, I visited Bangkok on an extended business trip for more than a month. My company arranged for me to stay in the Centre Point hotel in Sukhumvit and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Sometimes, staying in a hotel for a long period of time can be uncomfortable, but the spacious rooms and kind staff made it feel like a home away from home. The hotel was conveniently located so I had a chance to explore some of Bangkok's sites as well.
