My experience was a Great experience with Car Shield. I called opened a claim and needed a tow truck to transfer my truck to another auto mechanic and wasted no time. Claim processed the same day... part ordered and just waiting for a call to make a payment that I'm responsible for and collect my vehicle.

We have put a claim in and the vehicle is going into the shop tomorrow for the repairs. We will see how car shield pays the claim once the repairs are made and billed and if the payment is made per our contract.

Service rep disapointment

I have an incredible expireance in the time that I need it my car windows motors in all four windows failed car shield received my call from the dealer as the dealer rep was trying to say you have service plan and that it was going to coast me. I stoped him before he could finish and told him wrong I have car shield im covered for it all. He was not happy could sell me a service plan. Lol tell me that I did not

Communication/follow up issue

More than likely going to cancel simply bc you have to continuously reach out to get anything followed up on. I was told they would contact my service provider twice for my jaguar. The work is done and yet to hear anything from Car shield. I don't want to be pushed to continue service for them to ghost me when I actually need help. They make themselves essentially unreachable outside of business hours with 0, follow up. I would recommend endurance and sadly will pay more just for the reassurance that someone actually cares to fix anything as opposed to a simple profit from subscribing.

A great team... Car Shield and Pep Boys

When I took my car to Pep Boys for an issue with a front end sporadic vibration, they found three problems that needed attention. They took pictures and contacted Car Shield. I did not have to do anything more. The work was done very well and in a timely manner, and I only had to pay my deductible (which saved me many dollars).

I needed my air conditioner replaced. Car Shield refused to pay for all the parts necessary to repair it correctly so I had to make up the difference. The plan had a $250 deductible and I had to pay an additional $700, a total of $950 to get it done completely. When I figured the plans monthly payment of $169 that I paid for 6 months before I turned in a claim, I didn't save any money at all.

Scammers

Did not cover pressure test! Then needed the diagnostic would not cover it either. Need an engine should have been a $500 deductible would not pay one cent. Had it towed from my house car started giving me trouble 4 blocks from home accused me of driving so won't pay. Starts fine no signs when starting. It lost coolant after I got home never smelled hot or overheated. Guess the thermostat stuck closed caused whatever happened. They just don't want to honor. Don't understand any circumstances get car shield!

Nothing but horrible experiences

I am cancelling my services as your member do not uphold their agreements, I had a charge recently reversed as I am unhappy with services, and right after the charge was reflected to my account, I was charged for it again. Your agents are $#*!s and do not care about the people they service and I want a refund for my last two months, as I have received 0 benefits from CarShield, and the customer service is the worst I've ever seen!

Today's vehicles are loaded with expensive electronic equipment. Some parts can cost thousands of dollars. Car Shield covers every major part except for wear and tear. Coverage of one part could pay for a couple of years of premiums.

My experience with Car Shield

I am a gold member having my previous truck covered with Car shield and no clams. My 2015 ford explorer has been covered for 7 months and started with 139,266 miles and now has 139,538. This car is not used that often; I change my own oil but cannot show receipts for service. We need a water pump and have not been approved?

When our truck would not start we thought it was the battery. What we found out is the alternator was not working. We called Car Shield and got immediate help. They made sure we had our truck back as soon as possible. We would recommend them to anyone whose warranty is no longer in force. Great company! Thank you Car Shield!

First Time Claim

I spoke with Nick regarding replacement of my front brake calipers. I know pads & rotors are normal maintenance parts. He was very patient, walked me through everything and greatly calmed my worried mind. Replacement is scheduled, the service provider was very professional, clean organized shop. Car repair stress me out

Between the mechanic and Car Shield I did nothing but take my car in. Car Shield was the best at getting our rental and our car repairs done quickly and it only cost me 100 bucks. I've been a Car Shield member for about four years. This was my first claim on it and I'll tell you what I am a member for life.

It's TRUE

I had a unexpected breakdown trying to get home with a injured leg. Car Shield made everything stress free. My car was repaired the same day and Car shield paid for over half the repairs. Now the only pain I'm dealing with is my leg. Thank you Car shield

Pleasantly Surprised

First time Using my Car Shield protection
July 4, 2025

The air conditioner went in my car. I had never used my Car Shield protection at this point so I called them to find out how to proceed. I was a little worried because my auto garage, a Ford Dealership, would not accept Car Shield contracts and they are the only place I take my car for it's regular maintenance but the Car Shield representative spoke to them, found that out and then recommended a Midas dealership in my area that would so I took it to Midas. They, not only fixed my car that same day, but were in contact with Car Shield and handled all that for me. I was, pleasantly, surprised that Car Shield paid over half of the bill immediately and I paid my portion. It was a very easy, convenient and pleasant experience.

When my car would not start I had no choice but to call on Car Shield for assistance. They were in contact with me within minutes. The driver called and told me he would be there in 20 minutes and he was. He was very courteous and told me I could go and relax, he was able to proceed without me and so I did.

The Mechanic had no problem contacting the claims department. My car was ready a day. Carshield saved me money. Of something that would have cost me 2900. 00 Thank you Carshield. Best thing i ever did.
