Ordered a book from Campsie Books a few days before Christmas with no expectation that it would be delivered before Christmas, this was a replacement for a book that arrived damaged from another site. The book arrived a couple of days after Christmas in excellent second hand condition. Price and postage were great value. Communication throughout could not be faulted. Would definitely recommend and use again.
Good, there was a delay but it was the delivery company's fault, the shop kept me up to date with the situation the best they could.
The books were a good price and the condition was as described.
Great local bookseller.
Ordered and promptly delivered. Condition very good. Will use again
Fast delivery, book was in excellent condition condition very happy
I just needed one book which they had, but when I went on their site I was tempted by so many more books to read and all so reasonable in their prices. So I got 5 in the end. The condition of the books was as good as new and are a real pleasure to read.
The book shop kept me informed of the delivery process and responded quickly to my order - which I consider a real bonus. So I got the "one vital book... The Hobbit, which my cleaner needed for her son" within days.
The service this book shop provides is certainly really impressive, and I will certainly be using them again.
I was more than a little upset when I realised that my original copy of Calum's Road had been taken from our house by a visitor. I looked on line to see if I could find a 1st edition replacement and Campsie Books had the right goods.
I was more than a little concerned when the delivery was possibly coming via Evri who have a very low success rate of finding correct addresses where I live so when it came by good old Royal Mail the day day after I'd voiced my concerns I was humbled and apologetic to Campsie books.
Thanks a million
Great service via Royal Mail
Great communication, fantastic prices and fast delivery from Campsie books. First class service. Hard to find, these days.
The range is a bit limited but very interesting, conditions accurately described and the prices really are amazing value. Efficient delivery was also free after £20 value ordering. Efficient, honest descriptions and good prices. Thanks team, I'm definitely saving Campsie to favourites.
Eg this wonderful hardback edition was less than £3
The Heart of Darkness plus Conrad's Diary is a difficult book to find. The one supplied looks new, was low priced and delivered promptly. I will be recommending this supplier to my book group.
