Obtained samples and prices from numerous sites for my vertical blinds and eventually settled for Buyblindsonline based on the colour/fabric we wanted. Prices were reasonable and in line with most other DIY blind sites. The slat material is good quality, the instructions were readable and fairly easy to follow and delivery was timely. Contacted the seller for clarification on an installation query and response was friendly, helpful and quick. Finished project looks good and operates well.
Brought Books. 2 months later, nothing. I called and customer service said I did not input a full address (something I would not do)... but did not take responsibility for not calling me to say as such. Said my only 2 options were to forfeit the voucher (and they keep the money) or pay another $10 to have it redeliver, which I foolishly did. 2 months later still nothing...
How much low can a seller go? This is what I was wondering when I had aweful experience of a deal bought from OurDeal... well at the time I did not realize... that the ourdeal service can get much worse... OurDeal blocked my account and my unused/paid deals as well... because I raised a complaint with PayPal
I've just had a terrible experience with OurDeal customer service. One of the deals that is sold on their websites is highly questionable. Once you purchase this $20 deal and try to book the service with the provider, you are requested to provide your visa card details, as the provider allegedly needs to keep a $150 deposit in case you 'don't show up'. There are two issues with this request: (1) you've already paid for the service but for some reason are expected to leave the deposit and (2) most importantly, there is no secure way to pay this deposit. You are essentially requested to hand out your credit card details on the phone to this small business, which doesn't even have a basic payment system on their website (not even Basic PayPal, which is very easy to set up!). When contacted about it, OurDeal customer service just shrugs you off and does not accept any responsibility for not providing the information about insecure payment method in their description of the deal. Personally, I'll never use OurDeal again and will make sure that my extensive group of friends knows about it!
I was organizing for a ski trip for a group of 8. OurDeal has a ski voucher deal on. I bought 1 voucher for 6 then realized that they may not the 2 rooms I needed. So I called the hotel and was told that they only have 1 room on the day we wanted. Confident that I can get the voucher refunded under the OurDeal guarantee, I sent email request for refund. That was rejected because I only bought 1 voucher so the request for 2 rooms was not a good reason. The OurDeal guy was so rude when I tried to explain why I only bought one voucher.
So to get the refund, I again had to try to book and hope for no vacancy reply. Second time, I was told there is a minimum 2 night policy. Armed with the reject, I submit my request for refund. This time, I was rejected and told that I must book specifically as Ourdeal customer.
I am so frustrated and believe that the service guy is there to make it so difficult to get a refund that you will give up at the end. This is my 1st travel deal purchased from Our Deal and will be my last. It is just not worth the hassle.
I recieved a gift voucher deal from a friend which was purchased off the ourdeal website. The voucher entitled me to a 2hr makeover and photo shoot provided by Lensflair photo + film. I had the photo's taken in February this year. I was entitled to 4 wallet size photos free and $200 towards additional photos. I decided that because it was a gift I didnt want to spend any extra money. As being a single mum i could definately not afford the $3000 plus package the suggest i purchased and as one 8×10 photo was going to cost me $495 I only chose the 4 wallet size photos. Months went by and i still have not recieved my photos and its now end of May. I had much contact with the company and have had little response. I am now only getting told that I will be recieving my photos soon but if I want them sent to my home address i have to pay no less than $15 to have them posted. This I think is ridiculous but as I have had so much hassel and disappointing service from Lensflair I just paid the cost. I was very upset and put off by the service I recieved and most definately would not recommend this company to any friends or family in the future. I personally think that if I was spending money with them on top of my voucher I would have had excellent service from them. So anyone who buys deal vouchers off the ourdeal website should be careful if the voucher means you have to deal with Lensflair. I felt it was more hassel than it was worth in the end.
I order an item back on 5/10/17. I have sent two emails asking about my item, but haven't received an respond at all. Horrible Customer Service!...
