I have attempted to get a broken part replaced for almost 2 years. I have spent DAYS on hold with their customer service and High Investigation Team only to be passed off, promised, and punished for THEIR failure to follow through with THEIR only job. I recently losses faith when they dismissed me and tried to blame me for their failure to deliver. Don't buy a bissell. Buy a DYSON. It's worth it to have a better product and a better customer service experience. I hope this saves you from what will be a dismal experience.
Bissell steam shot was recalled and settlement awarded Bissell failed to comply with their own guidelines in providing the refund in 4- 6 weeks. After several calls and involving the BBB, Bissell reponed stating the check was issued and would take another 2- 4 weeks. If the check was issued timely, why is it taking an additional 2- 4 weeks added to the original time frame. How many other consumers are facing the same deceptive practice. I refused to accept their response. I will probably lose the money as Bissell's retaliation for my complaints
Do NOT buy Bissell! Their quality control and customer service is a complete failure. I purchased a Pet Hair Eraser Slim. It hadn't been a year and there was 3 holes in the suction tube. I called, they sent a replacement because the VACUUM was still under warranty. I had to send my damaged one back which of course meant they'll put the same badly designed tube in it and send it out to someone else. They sent the wrong head. I had to send that back and then they sent the right one. Mind you I was without a vacuum all through this. Here I am not even another year later and I have a hole in the suction tube again. I contacted them. They offer me a 20% discount to buy that same defective reworked part or to buy a new vacuum. Because the vacuum is now out of warranty, past 1 year. They do not warranty the defective part they replaced separately. "This is unacceptable" I say. They have an obviously defective product, my vacuum isn't even 3 years old and I'm dealing with holes in the 2nd tube. "The best we can do is 25%" they say. Another 5%!? Are you out of your mind!? I tell them to escalate this to a higher up. They say I'll be contacted within a week by email with a decision. I received an email within an hour saying the same. That it's 25% and it's only valid while on chat or phone ordering through an agent with this complaint. Completely blown off. BISSELL you are a huge company. Your customer service should be extremely better. There is absolutely no reason my vacuum shouldn't have been replaced by the newer model, at the very least. Your vacuum lasted LESS THAN A YEAR and now I have to buy another. I promise you, IT WON'T BE A BISSELL.
I bought one to clean in between normal mopping, I could mop quicker then getting this thing going. Mapping program is not great, it has water tank issues etc. Do yourself a favor don't buy one, wasted money.
Finally, after getting someone on the phone about the Bissell, I am told that the warranty will only be a rebuilt machine and whatever time left will be my warranty. They will not replace with a new machine even though I have only had the Bissell for less than a month. I am really shocked that aa company this large has such a poor repair/replacement/warranty policy. I will never buy a Bissell product again
I've been on hold for 1.5 hours waiting for a representative to assist me with support regarding a bissell carpet shampooer product I purchased. No one answered my call, this is my second attempt. Very frustrating! They either don't have enough support agents or customer support is non existent.
1:15 minutes on hold this afternoon and 1:05 on hold this evening. After the wasted 1:15 I finally gave up and requested a call back. A customer service rep called back while I was out about an hour later. He said I had to be with the product even though I gave him the model number, etc. He said he would make notes on how long I was on hold and that I should call back. I did this evening and another 1:05 on hold listening to inane music on hold and sales pitches. I gave up again I attempted to contact them

Which also stopped working after about 3 months with with the Powershot which should be called the Weakshot. It's a piece of junk. You'd be better off boiling water and throwing it on your carpet. Bissel Wicked Combo of terrible steamers and even worse Customer Service. Maddening experience.
Called 11/1/23 for replacement rolls for my Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro since they are no longer stocked with Wal Mart, etc. A gentleman answered, had no idea what I was asking, placed me on hold for over 15 minutes. I hung up and ordered from Amazon. Eeeeessshhhh!
I have a Bissell Pet Hair Eraser that I have used for several years. I'm a disabled veteran who is in a wheelchair and the vacuum cleaner has been perfect for me. When the power foot quit working, I contacted customer service. They paid for FedEx to pick it up and as soon as they got it, they sent me a replacement vacuum that was new. I have been extremely satisfied with customer service and what they did for me.
Staff at Bissel are absolutely useless if u want parts forget it they don't know there products wanted part 4 my machine getting the runaround
The concept of the Little Green Machine is awesome. What would be more awesome would be if they worked. I have purchased TWO little green machines.
My first machine's dirty tank cracked. I contacted customer service, they said I had to buy & replace tank. I did. Bottom of tank started leaking. They said it couldn't be fixed and I'd have to order a new machine. No offer for reimbursement.
My husband ordered me a new machine. I have kept this one absolutely spotless. I deep clean the deep cleaning machine after every use (ironic). The bottom of the tank started leaking on this one as well, along with the trigger on the spray nozzle no longer working. I contacted Bissell. They said my one year warranty went out a month ago all they could offer is 20% off a new purchase for a third machine! I have already spent over $200 on machines that keep breaking and all they are willing to do is offer me $20 towards a new one. They won't even look at the machine to possibly fix it.
What a joke to have to buy a new machine every year. After reading other reviews, it seems this is their tactic with all customers. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
I purchased an open box Little Green machine from Walmart. It was missing 1 part. I contacted Bissell customer service. Although the online chat was slow on a Saturday, the rep still was easy to deal with and courteous. Bissell is sending me a replacement part free of charge. Excellent customer service. And the Little Green unit works perfectly to spot clean my carpet.
I don't recommend this machine. It has a 1 yr warranty and I did not use it a lot and the moter

Bissel sent us a coupon code by email for a discount on an item they referenced in the email, complete with a huge ad photo of the product and a link to order. We placed an order for the featured item, the automatic coupon processed, and the order amount was immediately processed in full on our credit card. The next day, we received a Bissell email saying our order was canceled, without reason. The email suggested that we buy the product through a merchant. We asked Bissell for an explanation on why the order was canceled, but we received no reply. And, we have not received credit on our bank card for the canceled order. So, now we have to fight to get credit for an order that we placed but was canceled for unknown reasons. We can assume, however, that the company arbitrarily decided not to honor its own email coupon as there was no issue checking out with the coupon, no issue with funding, and no issue with shipping verification. Sad service with a headache.
I have bought two Bissell vacuum cleaners and both of them smelt like rubber was burning I took it apart the belt is fine but the brush will not move I called and asked about a refund and I was told I could not get one so therefore I will no longer buy your product and I will let others know about your vacuum cleaners do not buy them they suck
My vacuum caught on fire an it's throughly cleaned after each vacuum. I contacted customer service they belittled me and did not resolve the issue let alone show anyconcern.
I bought Bissell Pro Heat Pet turbo and I have not had nothing but trouble with it releasing water.It is nerve racking.I have always bought Bissell products but I think this is my last one.I5 cost too much money not to work.I am highly disappointed.
Good job Bissell. My Crosswave is broken, and customer service offers a 20% discount, but you can't use it on sale items. WHAT? That is crap. As a consumer, you should be able to use a discount for sale items, especially when the item is over $200. The normal price is $299.99 with 20% is $239.99yet it is on sale for $219.99. So, what is the point of the discount? I should be able to use 20% off on the $219.99 price so the item is $175.99. But NOOOOO. Policy states. That is CRAP and they know it.

I bought a Bissell Pet Hair eraser in April. I was not able to use it until three weeks ago due to having a full knee replacement. The first time I used it, I notice a 2 inch wide area of the brush roller does not pick anything up. Cuatomer service says you're supposed to take the whole vacuum apart for maintenance after every use. But this was the first time it was used out of the box. Plus, who ever heard of having to take the vacuum apart after each use? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard! I had a Shark for five years, and that thing was a beast. It never missed anything. Of course Bissell won't take this piece of junk back, either. Make no mistake, there will NEVER be another over-priced, useless Bissell in my house!
If purchasing I definitely don't recommend purchasing through website, I've brought the washer 2889F straight from the website and was unlucky enough to receive a faulty product, gave out in barley 20mins of use as belt refused to stay on, been $#*!ed around with phone calls getting told they'll be getting back to me withing 24hours, twice, third time getting told I'll be getting a phone call back from manager, which also didn't happen, more emails, I've now been left with pretty short emails telling me to simply fill out the return form. Which states in their terms and conditions that not only do I have to cover shipping costs but am also liable to any damage or misplacement that may occur during transit. Not to mention that product must be received within 14 days of contact from my end but also give at least 8 to 10 for shipping. Too many loop holes to be screwed when I received a faulty product and not just simply changed my mind. I wish I've simply gone into a shop to make this purchase as I'm sure this would've been dealt with alot quicker and with more effort from the staff end.
Answer: Just I called and I did not have to wait to get a person and not like answer automatic voice, the person was very nice and kind and after the call i got an email and Bissel keep me informed about my request. It was so easy to get customer service.
