Overall beyond a terrible experience.
When I was looking for tickets to a traveling broadway show, I went directly to the venue's website. When I clicked for tickets, it sent me to the website for this company, and I didn't realize that I had been redirected to a different site. I found tickets that looked good, and price-checked against another major ticket outlet to make sure they were comparable (if the other outlet had better seats than the venue (which I thought I was still buying through), I would have switched to that business). Since the prices were comparable for the section they were in, I went ahead and purchased them. It wasn't until after I completed the sale that I realized I was using a site that was not related to the venue, and at that point it was too late to reverse (the 100% money back guarantee is a farce). At that point, I wasn't too concerned, because I was still getting the seats for a reasonable price. Then... they came in the mail. When I opened the envelope and looked at the tickets, I was shocked to see that the ticket price was half of what I actually paid - and NOT IN THE AREA I was guaranteed. I paid for balcony tickets, and they sent upper balcony tickets - which is an area located on the floor above the balcony. When I ordered the tickets initially, the ticket sale was for seats located on the balcony (and, for reference, it says on the tickets "balcony" or "upper balcony", so they are clearly different ticket locations). I would NEVER have paid the price that I did for the tickets they sent me. Ever. Immediately after opening the envelope, I called the customer service number on my confirmation letter, only to be redirected to e-mail for service. I attempted to call 3 times in total, and each time I was directed to e-mail. My next step was to e-mail - the response was prompt, but whomever was servicing my complaint abruptly told me that I got what I ordered, and that if I wanted to dispute it (this was a total of 10 e-mails back and forth), I would have to call. When I explained that I had already attempted to call, and that I would be contacting the proper authorities, my credit card company, and alerting anyone on social media I could possibly warn about this, the response from the representative was that a supervisor would contact me within 48 hours via phone. It is past the 72 hour mark, and guess who I haven't heard from yet?
I have never had such a terrible purchasing situation with an on-line retailer - or any retailer, for that matter. They misrepresented their product, took my money, and then refused to deal with the very situation that they created. For the sake of anyone who thinks to research a company before using it, I paid $104 for tickets that were marked $35 when I received them. In a section that is a floor above the section I was told I was purchasing them for. I can't believe that companies are allowed to operate like this, it is absolutely astounding and horrifying.
