I experienced a very poor response from this company. LogMein automatically opened and charged me for a new year of service. I called customer service the same day that I saw the charge on my Capital one card. They refused to cancel my contract and they insisted that I would would be responsible for the entire yearly fee! It seemed harmless at first. It worked. But then I stopped using it. It still opened on launch even tho I set the setting to not open at launch. I didn't think too much of it since a couple other apps had the same problem. It's not like other apps tho. It got worse. It now opens at launch and reopens itself when you close it. It also SITS IN FRONT OF ALL OTHER APPS. You cannot minimize it. You can put it in the corner, put in on another page, but that's the best you can do. It refuses to close, OR LET YOU UNINSTALL IT. This is the tell tale sign of malware. I will have to take it in or purchase a program online to get rid of it. Save yourself the trouble and never install it.
Gotocom*logmein auto renewed my account without my authorization, charged my credit card and refuses to refund the charge even though the account is no longer used and wasn't for the last 8 months of the prior term. Customer service rep Mauricio stated the policy was NO REFUND for any reason. This is criminal.
Log Me In Pro worked well for us but ---when I had the chance to go with SplashTop and save $250...I jumped at it. However, we were on Auto Renew with Log Me In...we were maybe a month into the renewal period...i they wont give me back ONE penny of my $350 renewal.

I was using LogMeIn for one of my employees. She was semi-retired and rarely used it. Now that she is fully retired, I tried to cancel our subscription. It is not possible to cancel online. Instructions say to request a ticket number and call a number they provide after you get the ticket number. I called the number and spoke with someone who was likely in India with a strong accent. She informed me that my subscription had auto-renewed in October and she would stop the auto renewal. She would not issue a partial refund for the remaining nine months left in the year. She indicated the contract so states. So buyer beware of this policy. As most software subscriptions allow prorated cancellations, you should be able to find a better company to work with. And please note that LogMeIn is now GoTo.

I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel my account (which is on auto renewal). There is no online button or form to cancel. Trying to find the customer service number to call is nearly impossible. Once you do find the number, the agent helpfully tells you that you can't quit without a valid reason. I'm not even asking for money back. I just don't want to auto renew. This company is engaged in high pressure unethical practices. I would recommend avoiding it at all costs.

I've been a loyal customer for years. We recently went through a merger situation and no longer needed service from LogMeIn. It is impossible to cancel your account; they send you from department to department until you drop off of the call, or promise to call back and never do. Based upon this experience alone, I would never do business with this firm again and advise all to be weary of their lack-of-customer service.
We cancelled and paid off our account balance a few months ago, and we are STILL getting bills from the company, along with now threats of being sent to collections. Every time I email, I am told it's being taken care of, but yet another bill shows up, even though I show that they cashed the check that was sent. Horrible company with horrible customer service. Logmein is a giant scam that will take advantage of its clients and charges extortionate prices for simple basic remote desktop services. They will continuously increase their subscriptions fees without notice year on year with the hopes you do not notice. There are much better value software companies and programs that can be used. Save your money! Do not use this company!

I bought Hamachi Standart Licence in 2020 from Logmein company. My licence expired in 2021, but there isnt a cancel section about auto renewal, so I couldn't stop renewing Hamachi Standard subscription. Then they renewed my subscription without my confirmation. Before renewing subscription, I closed my credit card's all shopping permissions, but I saw they received 56 euros from my credit card due to this. I offer you, don't buy any product from this company, because this company only thinks about your money, they are scammer and thief.
Their subscription practices are underhand to say the least. Sign up for a year. No cancelation. Fine. However, at the end of the year, they do not alert you to the roll over new period. Cancel second year. Good luck! They will try to force you to continue paying for an entire year even though you are not using their service. A business like this will not thrive. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The "Free" version has been downgraded to force people to pay for upgrades. A slight discount was offered. However, the discount disappeared on the final day before it should have. I wanted to bring this to their attention, and expected them to at least honor the pricing they had sent me twice this week.

When they remote control my computer, my computer got worst cause in the first place, nothing was wrong with my computer. The best thing you can do is call your credit card co. To dispute the bill unless its too late.
