Technically, my review is for Sumissura.com, previously Tailor4Less Women.
Since they don't have a page where I can review them, I will do it at the men's page instead.
They say that their clothing is "made to measure" which in fact means "we will completely disregard your measurements and then not provide financial compensation in the event the garments are so bad that it costs more than half their cost to have them fixed by your local tailor".
I gave them my measurements. They asked me to confirm my measurements. I confirmed my measurements.
I then received a skirt, jacket and shirt, all of which are too big. I log on to my measurement profile and for some strange reason, after I confirmed my measurements the company changed my measurement profile to include 3 larger measurements not confirmed by me that completely throw off the fit of the clothing.
Went to my local tailor - it will cost $240 to fix everything. When I spent $400 to begin with - so more than half the cost of the items to make them fit. Things wrong: jacket shoulder width, jacket length, jacket sleeve length, jacket waist, shirt should width, shirt waist, shirt sleeve length, skirt waist, skirt hips.
Complain to Sumissura/Tailor4Less and provide photographs showing that the measurements I confirmed with them are correct, the measurements of their garments are not and they keep replying that the items were made "in accordance with the measurements I confirmed". Then they say they can't confirm the measurements the tailor used without looking at the garments. Apparently my photos are not evidence enough.
No explanation of why my measurement profile contains incorrect measurements not entered or confirmed by me. No explanation about why my photographs are not sufficient evidence. No explanation about why they had to add 4-5cm to every single measurement "for mobility".
That's not mobility. That's making everything a size or more too big. How on earth is that a "perfect fit"?
Then they tell me that they will close my support ticket unless I "accept their proposed resolution" - even though the reason the matter isn't resolved is because they refuse to answer my questions about why my measurement profile was incorrectly updated etc.
I am now at the point where I have had to lodge a dispute with my credit card company in an attempt to reverse the transaction on the basis that the goods I received are defective.
They are NOT worth the trouble. Do. Not. Bother.
