I was on an email notification list from CTD for a new Glock 43 and they notified me to let me know that they had them in back in stock. I immediately got on their website and placed my order and was actually very surprised that everything went so well with CTD as far as the order going through with so many people looking for this gun at this time. I made sure they had all my FFL's info and even called my FFL so he could make sure they had everything they needed to process the order. The next business I called and talked to a CTD rep to see if everything was in order for the order to get processed and wanted to make sure a Glock 43 was available to fill my order as I was very skeptical that this transaction was going to work out and I was told yes, yes and yes. Two days later I received an email that CTD would not be able to process my order that they were waiting for my FFL's info and their firearms sales information form. I then call CTD to see what was going on for them to tell me my order had been cancelled due to them not having a 43 in stock to fill my order. Of course I was not happy after all I did to make sure everything was in order but they did not hold up their end. CTD's excuse was that they did not know how many people of the ones notified would place an order. I disagree, if I place an order and it is not in stock then why did you take my money if it was not in stock. The problem with CTD is that they dropship most of their firearms which means they have no idea how many is available and they have none in stock to look at and see how many they have. These so called warehouses are a joke, deceptive and misleading as they don't have any warehouses but the warehouses are actually the manufacture themselves. So they cancelled my order and are supposed to refund my money and they actually wanted to know if I wanted back on the notification list again and I said no thanks I will not be doing any business with you guys ever again. I believe it should be illegal to sell something that you don't have and that is what they are doing. They don't even know what they are selling, what comes with it or anything as they don't physically have it. If you want to waste alot of time and get your blood pressure up then try and work with Cheaper than Dirt. There are alot of other companies out there that are pleasant to work with and have great customer service unlike CTD.
