AVOID shopping here at all costs

I purchased a sale skirt from their website (the one teaspoon 2020 skirt). Under standard delivery, the skirt came in within about a week and a half. Right away, I noticed the button was missing (not a regular sewn on button, but the metal type you usually find on denim that you would otherwise need a professional to repair). However, even on sale, I ended up paying 65 dollars for the skirt; I felt I should not have to be paying additional and going out of my way to have it repaired. They should have looked it over more carefully before sending it from their warehouse, however people do make mistakes, and I was willing to let it go once as long as it was properly handled. I called their customer care number, and was told that a special note would be put in at a location of my choice, which would allow them to refund it for me (since they do not due refunds on sale merchandise, even if bought online), and I would have to repay for a new skirt over the phone (they cannot refund shipping costs in store, so the representative waived the shipping the second time I paid over the phone). Typically, at this point of inconvenience, most companies would offer you some sort of gratitude/compensation; not Aritzia. In fact, I was told by their charming representative that they were already accommodating me by "providing me with express shipping the second time." How moronic does that sound... you would not have to be "accommodating" me if you had done the job right the first time... I would have had the skirt earlier, regardless of your express shipping. Now I have to take additional time off to go return another one, and pick up the new skirt from Canada post. Anyway, the second skirt comes in; its ripped completely from the leg to the crotch to the point where you cannot wear it. Completely different from what was advertised from the website and the first skirt I received. I told the Fairview Mall associate that I would either like to return both (though I loved the skirt very much) because both were extremely damaged, or that they provide some sort of alteration service for the button. After talking on the phone with customer care for about 25 minutes, another colossal waste of my time, I was told neither of these could be done and I was forced to keep one. Along side this, the associate would reiterate over and over that it was not Aritzia's house brand, so they cannot be held responsible for it--um, yes you very much are responsible for it, considering you are the retailer who is carrying it and the damage probably occurred within your warehouse. Regardless, it is your responsibility to make sure your customers are receiving what they paid good money for. If I purchased from the One teaspoon website, then it would be their responsibility. See how that works? In addition, she actually had the nerve to argue and say that the second skirt was "completely wearable" with two massive holes well into the crotch area. Meanwhile, the associates around her as well as customers were looking at the skirt on the table with a look of disgust and disbelief... commentating and actually thinking I was actually purchasing that item to wear or something along those lines. Regardless, after all of this, I am stuck with a button-less skirt, which I am going to have to make an additional trip to have fixed (with a button that will noticeably not resemble the designer's button--they have their logo on all their buttons) and have to pay extra. Needless to say, almost every single person I have come in contact with on behalf of this company is a complete dumb $#*!, for a lack of a better word, and immensely thirsty for sales. Do NOT shop here if you value your money or time.

Note: a photo of the two damaged skirts I received, along with the photo advertised on the Aritzia website for the product, are attached. See the difference for yourself.
