What is the benefit of choosing the cent account option for someone who's new to this sort of thing?

Hey there! So the main reason you would want to open a Cent account instead of a standard one, is because it’s generally easier to trade smaller lot sizes with.
As a beginner trader, you probably want to start off with small capital as you learn all the nuances of trading, develop a strategy, and get used to your platform.
This way, if you open a position for, let’s say, 0.01 lots (which was the minimum trade size on t4trade the last time I checked) it will be displayed as 100,000 cents. It’s going to be a lot easier to track your profits and losses this way.
