I got upset with too many review indicating that Skrill is scam from clients; could please explain to me what is the problem? As these discourage people, me in particular from opening an account with your corporation. My email is raemmanuel@yahoo.com

Answer:
Their problems are many: 1. They are scam artists. 2. If you try and email them and you do not have an account with them, you'll get an email saying "We don't know you" and force you to open an account with information you don't want them to have. 3. Their main office is in England! Yeah good luck with the time change on getting anyone live. I could not find a working phone number in the US to reach them. Scam, scam, SCAM! Stay away!

Since over 6 months the 2000 USD deposit was frozen and I could neither pay online nor use my skill credit card. Numerous online complaints, emails and telephone calls did not help. Several times I sent them proof of residence, utility bills, all to no avail. The recently changed telephone number +44 203 3032526 gets you voicemail requesting to leave a message instead of a living person for advice. I believe it is a scam system. nic@iljine.net
