Can I put a 1977 Chevy Nova transmission in a 1994Chevy Silverado 2wh 5.7

Question:

I bought a 98 TA with LS not running well. the car has a nitrus set up and I think new injectors FastFuel Airspark 303608. engine starts than idle drops and I believe too much fuel. do you think the tune needs adjusting for these injectors ? not using nitrus.
