Because Carhartt is absolutely garbage. I thought Duluth was real workwear for real men who perform real work in all types of environments. Not attire to wear to the local clubs and bars.

They used to be reputable and have superior product. They no longer care enough about their reputation. A rip off!

I thought it was quality well made clothing that would last me a long time. I do a lot of yard work and I was sick of purchasing clothes that seemed disposable. Everything else I have bought so far has held up well but this shirt I only wore three times and washed the one time and it ripped. So I'm having to question the quality on this one

Their ads advertise quality made clothing. That's basically the only reason.

I liked their focus on women's work wear. Its well made and fits nicely.
